I wanted to jump in here with something to think about in case of a nicotine ban. I havent been on the diy forum much posting but Ive certainly been checking in. Like Kurt and alot of others Im also a 100% VG guy. I love it and started mixing my own the first week I started vaping full time over a year ago now... wow, its been a year... I smoked for 25...
Anyways what hasnt been discussed is how to make that precious nic juice last even longer and that is by decreasing your nic intake over time. I am now comfortably down to 6-8mg juices for my tobaccos and 0 nic for my fruit, drink, and other juices. I did this slowly over time with ZERO dissatisfaction, ZERO side effects, MINIMAL cravings for nic. I had a plan and followed it.
My point, decrease your nic consumption over time.
Every three to four weeks I lowered my tobacco juices by 2mg. I started vaping at 21mg. I lowered my other vapes by 4mg. (Note: I vape and am proficient with tobaccos mostly and use other flavors just to shake things up a bit. You can certainly take the juices you vape most and do the same. Make the others you dont vape as often in a lower dose of nic.)
I did keep one bottle on hand in my most liked juice that was double my current nic levels. So right now the only 12mg bottle I have is in Honey Flu Cured Virginia. I made a 30ml bottle two months ago... its still half full. If Im really craving I hit that till Im not.
I could drop my tobaccos as this point to zero nic and be fine. Ive just chosen not to for now. Ive been at 6mg for awhile.
You DO NOT have to keep vaping 18, 21, even 36mg nic if you dont want to. You CAN step down over time without any ill effects. I did 3-4 week cycles. Im perfectly happy and my Wizards Ice lasts me forever.
A big big shout out to the vets like Kurt, Hoosier, Salem, Cyrus, and others that helped me so much along the way. Ya'll are class acts!
