Wow quite a difference, so I am excited for when my wife allows me to spend money again and invest in an even better system, perhaps a mod, perhaps I need more of a step-wise progression before getting there, I don't know but THIS IS WORKING!

Good advice. I started with the blu starter kit from Walgreen's. Yep, I spent more than I should have on it, BUT, it got me through the weekend and I bought some more carts for it. Not the best buy any stretch but good enough to get me off analogs. Just got an Echo dual coil in the mail today. Love it. Advice when you move up to a bigger PV, don't over do it. You get more nicotine from the juice, bigger PV combo than a blu or similar type.
I've been using cartomizers and I personally find, that buying sample sizes is useless for me right now. I don't have the luxury to spend money on a sample size that isn't gunna take up a fraction of the life of a cartomizer and I don't intend to boil it second day. I guess I'm just not that picky. As long as it's a warm flavour like wurther's or Ry4 or chocolate I'll vape it no matter what. As long as I'm not smoking, I'm grateful to be vaping. That being said, I'm not planning on ordering 30ml of tuna any time soon.
I started with a "Cool Smoke" disposable from the local cigarette shop. I actually quit my 2PAD analogs with it, but was annoyed with the battery constantly needing to be recharged. So I bought another. Then I started searching online for an alternative. Ended up with a 510 and still haven't smoked an analog (2+ weeks).
I got lucky with the first bottle of juice I purchased--LOVED it. (sweet tobacco flavor from zeecigs.com)
I've since ventured into non-tobacco flavors by placing a juice only order and so far have only had one I really disliked--traded it for other supplies thru a fellow vaper at work.
Just placed my 2nd order for juice thru a different supplier and ordered some clearomizers from another vendor to get rid of the constant-need-to-fill cartridges.
Truth is, it's trial and error--you won't know til you try if the first PV will be a fit. For me, at this point, the 510 seems to be a decent fit. I don't want to trade "looks like an alalog" preference for longer life/less maintenance. Maybe at some point I will, but for now I'm good with my 510, 4 batteries, a XL battery, wall charger, USB charger and pass thru--well, I WILL be good once all my goodies arrive. lol

It has been so AWESOME to be using my new Clearomizers (CE2's). Before, with cartomizers, it was every few hours fill up a carto with 1ml of eJuice, wipe down the liquid that gets on your fingers and the carto. Take the last carto I filled a few hours before and blow it out, then put it on and wipe down the device and my fingers. Then, get about half the flavor and vapor I am getting from the dual core Clearomizer. Now, it's put 3.5ml into the syringe, inject that into the clearomizer, wipe off the unit, wash my hands, and vape all day. Much better vapor & flavor. And, the draw is much more like an analog.
Wow, that's the first good thing I have heard about a Clearomizer. So many complaints! That sounds great to me.
Filling them is harder than a regular carto, of course. But, the rest of the day is a breeze. I really do not miss filling cartos every 3-4 hours - 3 times a day, essentially. The clearomizers rock, for me.
my suggestion? If your e-cig doesn't satisfy you or remove the craving for an analog, you prabably need a stronger nic e-juice.
I was using 24, and I still felt I needed analogs. I now switched to 36 "Smooth" flavor from Bluemistvaping, and I no longer have analog cravings. The higher nic content is what did it for me!

For me, that's the jist of this entire thread. If your e-cig isn't removing the craving for analogs, you need to change something. Either the device isn't delivering the nicotine you need, or the juice isn't right for the user. Well said.
Don't just buy "anything", and if it doesn't work, immediately assume e-cigs don't work. They work when the right set up for you is used. : )

The biggest thing I've learned in this last month is that when it comes to spending, expect to spend a lot. If you're a big smoker, you need a big device to quit. If you're a light smoker, a light device will do the trick. If it doesn't taste good: Stop. That simple. Something may be burning that shouldn't, and more importantly, something may be straight up broken. Try lots of juices. Whatever flavor is the LAST flavor you'd expect yourself to vape regularly: Buy some of that because that'll be your favorite in a month. I started with tobacco flavors exclusively and now, less than a month later, I carry four cartos and a tank all full with different dessert flavors (Sinabon, Red Hots, Caramel Cream, "Gorilla Juice" - basically a very tropical fruit punch flavor, to name a few).
Oh, and most importantly for me was actually going to a SHOP. Not just online. The hands on help is the ONLY REASON I am here. That, and meeting someone from ECF in person for some hands on too.

If you want to just hit it hard and without $ constraints. This thing seems to be the BOMB.

I bought a set of (5) 3.5ml CE2's (one was DOA) for my Pig Cig (808D-1). The clearomizers work awesome, but need to be cleaned every couple of uses. Found a couple videos on YouTube of how to "clean" them by pulling the tube off the base. All these videos show the individual attaching the CE2 to their battery (screwing it on) then gently wiggling it at the base of the CE2. Well, all of mine were so tight they didn't want to budge. At first I was afraid the tube would shatter or crack and cut my fingers. Then I saw another vid were the guy squeezed the tube to show that it is actually plastic (duh). So, I thought, heck I'll just really pull on it. I did. The batter pulled apart at the threads ripping the soldered wires off of the battery and the thread. I now have only one PV. : (

the first mistake I made was unstocking. Had to wait 10 days for shipment so I ended up using analogs
