Do's and Dont's for First Timers...from a Newbie

That's really useful advice, thanks for this. I found the same when ordering from Liberty Flights UK. They seemed to experience a drought of the menthol e-liquid and I've had to wait for it. Mind you, the watermelon flavour isn't half bad, doesn't deliver the hit that the menthol does, but you can live on it while you wait. I have not found a contingency plan yet. If my EFag fails, I'm down the shops for the coffin nails. But I'm doing OK, no major catastrophes and I have not had any tobacco since 12 January. I've even managed to lower my dose from 14mg to 8mg already. I will quit this time, in fact I feel like I have already. My non-smoking partner is happy, I don't stink, I'm not spending £7 on 20 oilies every other day and I now have enough puff to ride my bike to work without feeling like I might not make it.

I have run out of my menthol, and or ordered around looking for "better" menthol I didn't like, and found an interesting thing. In the morning, before you vape your "go to" eLiquid....stuff like the watermelon aint so bad. For me it was the vanilla bean I had felt was "not so great" and a 30ml of mint that I didn't particularly care for. I vaped on those (actually mixed the two at one point vanilla mint!) and they did the trick until my menthol came in. Another thing I have just discovered is filling a carto that had menthol in it with, say the watermelon in your case, and you get that kick you like from the menthol with the watermelon. Not saying to "mix them" more re-use the spent menthol carto with a eliquid you have around.

I totally get what you say about the mixing... when I ran out of the double mint I favoured over the chocolate I bought with it, I used the chocolate liquid in the mint carto and behold, a minty choccy chip ...! Rather nice it was too until the carto finally bit the dust. The chocolate one is OK, but a bit dry and smoky for my taste, I always feel like drinking a gallon of water after use.

Received the kit today, Throwing in a couple of attys and fluxomizer and some juice and giving it to my brother tomorrow.

Gave the kit to my brother on Su and he vaped on it until Tu when the first battery died and wont take a charge anyone else having any issues with these kits? I sent a email to the vendor guess wait and see there response. He filled a Fluxo with juice he didnt like and couldnt figure out how to empty it without having to vape it so he used the eMDCC's and said he kinda liked them, I emptied his Fluxo so he could put something he liked into it while trying to figure out his battery/charger issue.

The flavors my bro didnt like was a bottle of RY4, 4 flavors of BWB, and a bottle of GJ I also gave him 6-7 bottles of various fruit flavors from Vermillion River that he didnt think he would like because he wanted tobacco flavors anyone guess what he decided he liked best He also wanted to know if I had any of that Cocoa puff flavored stuff that he tried earlier as he kinda liked it= Copper Creek House Blend

I emailed Vaporbeast about my batty problem that was this morning and they replied right away with a choice of returning for full refund or an exchange although out of stock and might take upto a couple of weeks. I havnt been able to make up my mind so I didnt reply right away and this evening I received a follow up reply asking what I wanted to do seeing as they hadnt heard back from me, Kinda surprised a company is concerned about makeing the customer happy in this day and age.

Hopefully I have converted another 30+yr analog smoker.

I had one of my Pig Cig batteries bite the dust on me....took me almost 3 weeks to replace it and I was able to get by with just the one for that time...and, that was with a 650mAh. I'd say opt for the replacement. Just make sure you charge that puppy every night. : )

Don't underspend and don't understock! I underspent and understocked on my first e-cig and that was a disaster. I went to cigarettes immediately. This is second go at it and I bought an Ego-T (just so easy to refill), but lots of e-juice 24mg nic and the next purchase I will get lower nicotine. It's been 3 weeks and I really don't feel the need to go back! And in those 3 weeks, what I spent on e-cigs is still less than what I would have spent on normal cigarettes.

I started with a Joye 510 and after literally a week or two upgraded. Off the get go buy a larger device so you don't need to upgrade when you find your small 200 mah batteries dying hourly.

I bought my kit that came with 2 EMDCC and 2 batteries and have already ordered 2 5 packs of cartos and 2 extra batteries.
Not to mention all the juices I have been ordering so I can figure out best what I like.

Just off the phone with Tim from VaporBeast setteled the battery issue he's sending out a new one nocharge as the battery was the only issue, Really seemed to care about customer satisfaction and makeing things right and left the decision upto me as how I wanted to rectify the issue, He offered extras for the inconvenience which I really hope he doesnt do as I am happy with just getting the defective battery replaced as that was my only issue. Customer satisfaction is 100% and I will be makeing future orders as my needs dictate. Spent an additional 10-15 minutes on the phone just yapping about ecigs in general which I thought kinda nice came away not feeling like just another customer.

I made the mistake of purchasing a kit from a kiosk at a mall as I was desperate to quit analogs...
Miserable stuff! Started doing homework as I should of on here and ordered a great starter kit,

what a world of difference! I have been vaping for a couple of weeks and took the advice from the
folks here and smoked if I felt I needed to. Smoking maybe a couple of analogs a day.
