Yeah it really just depends on what the battery looks like. If the wrapper is fine and there are no dents on it, it should be fine. I dropped my R200 with the batteries in it and one of them got a decent dent in the negative terminal, so I stopped using it and replaced with a new pair.

Yeah, don't transport your spare "naked" batteries loosely in a pocket or purse. Any metal like keys or coins can touch the positive end of the battery and cause the battery to go into thermal runaway. Prevent this from happening by using a plastic battery case to transport your spare batteries.
Closely inspect your dropped battery for any indentations or tearing of the insulating plastic wrap. If they look ok, then the battery should be safe to use again. Also a great idea to check that the voltage is within normal limits (3.4 - 4.2 volts) with a voltage meter.
