I didn't notice which smelled more. I took them all apart though. One inner cap I couldn't get off. I will try again when I get my strength back. lol.

You might try soaking the carto in warm water for a few minutes. This might losen up the glue on the inner cap.
The inner cap on the first one pop right out with little effort. It also slides back in with no probles either.
The second on I tried I had to give it a hard constant pull to get it out. I'm using a dental pick theat the sharp point has been filed off. It reminded me of removing the mouth piece from a hard tip regular carto.

zoiDman, there may not be a downside for you, but it's not something for the general smoking population to do. The cap would neat to reseat properly.
Why? Pulling out a capl and putting it back in doesn't seem like rocket science.
The person who sent me these E2 cartos told me that the refilling was such a hassle using a syringe that she probably wouldn't conside buying them again.
But after I told her about removing the inner cap, she PM-ed me and said it worked great and was refilling just like a regular carto.
And BTW. If you don't remove the inner cap. How does a person dry out these E2 cartos after washing?
And don't tell me you do a dry burn with the inner seal in place?
