lol no I ordered mine on the 10th August when RS said that "all orders will now have ceramic cup".

The inner silicon ring(s) and sturdy ceramic cup should stop any leaking.

if you noticed there hasnt been 100's of boxes of ceramics shipped, only a select amount and thats becuase it was the first run and they where still testing as they have even said in someones email as to why the order hasnt shipped yet.

so they caught the leaking issue on a small % and then fixed the issue according to them.

Actually thats not the case, the ones you have now have a very small percentage that are prone to leaking, thats why they are the first run, that has been caught right away and adjusted for all orders being shipped.

I guess its a problem with the plastic cup deforming after removing the inner cap. Maybe if I injected the juice instead, they wouldn't leak. But I need to remove the inner cup to boil away the glue properly.

Tht's fine if it works, but just remember the real heavy duty tests are outdoors in the real heat.

Well, I don't know about you, are you in Austria or Australia? In the U.S we have heat waves from time to time.

I take the ecigs outside and put them to the test out there. The vapor has to be visible, and the slots should not leak from slot to slot, the ecig can be subject to a lot of movement and vibration, heat from sunlight in the vehicles, etc.

I'm in Australia and its Winter here, but I think the new ones should be ok in warm weather since the new silicon ring can expand out with the metal casing. We'll just have to wait and see.

I see. Even if I get those earlier ceramics, they gotta be 100 times better than the ones I have now :p

i dont see why not, a few people said they are ceramic so thats a plus and that there was no smell or glue, so that means the initial issues are fixed.

the only other issue seemed to be the leaking and they say they have fixed that as well.

so even the first ceramics people have now should be a major improvement.

I think they will continue to improve for 10 years, even atomizers and foam cartomizers were not that good after all this time.

But I have to buy them, I need the current version regarldless of what it is, I'm not going to wait 10 years. What am I to use until then?

If we're talking about Windows 98, and waiting for a $100 version of Windows '99 that's different, these are dollar cartomizers, and I gotta order the current ones (I just need the company to know what version they're shipping).

True. My Edition1 carto's leak a bit sometimes so I'm used to it anyway. The Rubber Sleeves seems to contain the leak so its all good.

Or maybe: "We fix all problems now! Great for walkabout!"

Yeah that's better :p

Ditto here. Besides, how much better can they get? Unless they come out with self-filling models I'm pretty happy.

I can think of a few improvements.

1) A small window on the side that shows you how much juice is left.
2) A refill tunnel/tube running along the side just under the end Cap so we can fill the carto directly from the bottle.
3) A bluetooth module that sends the juice level and other statistics to your phone :p j/k
