My order of XL's were shipped out today, finally

Actually it's not that bad. I'm a pretty heavy user and I get 2-3 hours out of mine. Not quite as long as my 14500 box mods, but close.
If you're not in a hurry, Ken is coming out with his Big Brother variable soon. It's the same size as a 2AA box mod and takes 2 14500's. I plan on getting one as soon as they're available.
Thanks, maybe I will wait and check out the big brother. I was looking at the tekk from nhaler, but thats a lot of money.

That one is too small, but thanks anyway. Sometimes I use two small ones, 901-510 with 510-808.
Funny how we all started at 3.0v a while back with the original 510 and quickly jumped up to 7.4v with a gazillion mods with fat batteries, now we are back down to 3.0v-4.2v thanks to these carto's. Which means we get the same performance with longer battery life if I'm not mistaken.
well back in the day they had a long one.. but it was really one of these with a hole drilled in the tube..

you can find it at other places that deal with 901s I am sure..
Have a look for the DSE901 extension that comes with the 901 kit. You just need to drill a small hole through the threads to achieve airflow for KR808D-1 carto's (DSE901 threads are the same as KR808D-1 threads as you know).

maybe not better battery life, thinking it's taking the same energy to vap juice with a hot wire just a change in the Volts to Current ratio but if the E2's have a more efficent system it will show since it's a squared relationship
imo any extra battery life we get from these is from the highly technical process of "I don't hold the button down as long".

My drag time with a 510 battery is less than that, but I do not know yet what will happen with the XL's at 3 ohms. I am hoping that they will work with the same battery with a somewhat longer draw. wow my second order is shipped but my first order is not so at least ill get someting and i hope they are all ceramic.
yeah i dont get it at all but at least i can count on something,anyting arriving in the next week.
