I play guitar quite poorly and at one time bought myself a banjo. Started to learn how to play it. Unfortunately it met an untimely demise. I never replaced it nor picked up a banjo again, although I think they are great instruments.

Untimely demise? Like, hit by a train? You can't leave me hanging like that. :p

I play mainly Martin guitars and Gibson banjos. I love acoustic intruments and collect all I can afford. Making a little money playing them is just a bonus. :)

as of now people are buying at thier own risk, people are selling 4 different versions and most of them are bastomizers and then the few that have the real ones are at 2.5 ohms or in that range. so thier results are a toss up.( some have the real ones at higher ohms but god knows who)

This isnt the vendors fault, we all know where the blame lies.

The ones i have, the real r4, the same one that i sent to 16 people, no glue, full sleeve, no afl filler, and proper ohms at 2.9 to 3.1 , those have been working very well. are they perfect??, NO, are they alot better then other revisions, I believe so. why arent they perfect? because while they wick much better and i will also use them as is, the ptb makes them that much better. so im being picky in that sence. other then that it doesnt leak, fits all my mods and are at the proper ohms. so not much to complain about.

What is the lifespan of a E2 cartomizer if used reguarly?I never used one so I dont want to waste my money on something that dont last,I drip but these look nice for work & driving.

Some people have gotten over a month out of one, some just a few days. They're made to be disposable but you should get at least a week out of one on average.

which is exactly what im hoping for and calculating, 1 a week, thats 4 a month, so thats 4 bucks or so plus the juice thats used.( some last alot longer so thats even more savings))
not bad.

Just checked e-liquid.cn and you can now choose to get the standard 510 C-E2's in 3 to 3.2 Ohms now.

Which would you all recommend for the ego. The 2.4 to 2.6, 2.6 to 2.8 or the 3 to 3.2?
I see a some people are leaning towards the 3 to 3.2

All the best,
Wing.

I'll be ordering the 3-3.2 ones myself. I wrote e-liquid.cn about it and after one reply it must have been forwarded to microcig because Martinez was the one who wrote to tell me they'd added them to the site.

my e4 carto makes the liquid awful dark quick, I hope it's not plasticizer leaching the shrink tubing like Scottbee may have posted
but I don't remember checking during the first initial fillup, my carto is now way past the first filling

not sure i checked last night on a 3 day old r4 and juice came out normal looking

An insane boyfriend, so many years ago. He channeled his anger by destroying things.

My brother also plays (and sells) Martins and Gibsons with the occasional Strat. :) You're lucky to have such treasures!

 I just realized that you use a hollow tip, when I first noticed what looks like black ink was when I pulled the white rubber mouth piece out. Except now I'm worried that if I get a hollow tip to replace the white mouth piece, I may not see the black ink if it all gets deeply inhaled?

That's terrible! I make a lot of jokes about banjos (all banjo players do), but if anybody ever destroyed one of mine I'd probably wind up in jail.

Short banjo joke: "I asked a friend of mine what pick-up I should try on my banjo. He suggested I start with the Ford F-150." *rim-shot*

What color was the juice when you started?

Edit: Pics?

Here is a pic,
A is after vaping in the R4,
B is the control sample, unused

I mean I'm not saying it's radioactive waste lol, but just something I hadn't noticed as quickly forming in the past... and remember this is also definitely not the first fill, but it is the one I cleaned and dry burned last night.

It could be gunk, yes, and that's a good idea for the sleeve also, but I just wish I knew how to slow that liquid change down, because what you see in the cup #A actually came from inside the carto, so it must all be changing (regardless of what it is), not just up top where people deeply inhale.

this is juice poured out form a 3 day old carto, 4 day old as of today, it was dry burned cleaned 2 days ago and i refilled it yesterday afternoon and have vaped it heavy since and never emptied out the old juice.

so im assuming you gunk is mixing with your juice .

i got the sleeve soaking in juice now and after a few hours ill heat it as well if there is no color change.
