Exactly...FINAL for the E2 maybe...but what about the F1's?

Any company saying they are done trying to improve and keep up with a product might as well close the doors.

Exactly, maybe the e2 is final, but e3 comes after e2-r4?

and Microcig 'Innovation' Technology is supposed to innovate (that could mean innovation after the final e2 I hope :) )

No...I dont take the ones apart I just add wick too...just take the fill ring out. I did that pic so you could see it easier than looking down a dark tube.

The coils are tougher than you might think...just dont kink it...but that taco coil does not work good as is anyway so dont even do it...just add wick for now.

I can mass produce anything as my eyes and hands wont cooperate very well.

o ok

I know, I need some brain surgery tools and a magnifying lamp

I like my needle tool I made for working with wick...just grind off and polish smooth the end of the needle where you would put the thread in...about halfway down...you can see it in the one pic. Works good for pushing and prodding the wick...like a little two pronged fork!

And a paperclip with a 1/8" L bend on it.

hey wsup I posted a picture yesterday of a 510 xl r4 that had filler rapped around it. today I took one that was working like a champ and was digging around with a mini screw driver looking for the filler and up popped the wick and I noticed that it looked different then the other one from yesterday.
the good e2's wick is more transparent in appearance with the one with the filler rapped around it was more like a rope type of wick. Oh and both were 2.5's
you think this may be causing the bad taste and poor wicking?

I don't know why the taco coil didn't work, but make sure the wire doesn't touch the cup as I said a while back, it
might have a heat sink effect, that's what happened with my r4 808d carto, somewhere around post #4353

as long as the coil is away from the cup like you see in this picture I think it should work perfectly (this may apply to all e2 cartos):

I just got my order from vaping.com and from all I've been reading, they are R3's, all 10 of them are 2.7 ohms and not plastic around the ceramic cup. Is there anything else I can check without tearing it apart?
Oh ya, they were sold as R4's.

def not r4's i went throught this already with them and they insisted that they were.... they even posted a pic of them with the bottoem cut off of the stem so u couldnt see the giant hot glue glob on the bottom...the are the bastomizers it has been confirmed by othe rmembers and myself.... i will not order agian from them....i posted some pics of the ones i had received from them in some previous pages

A quick and dirty test to see if the bad taste is from poor wicking is to vape your PV with the battery pointed UP at 45 degrees or so. This keeps the carto down and the juice is gravity feed onto the wick.

If it vapes well when pointed up verses point down, it isn't wicking fast enough and the coil is going dry. When the coil goes dry you start to burn "gunk" and that tastes bad. Kinda like doing a mini dry burn.

Which carto worked better? The one with the "Rope" like wick or the one with single "Strands"? And which one had the "filler" material in it?

I'm not sure what Anybody is using rev wise anymore because RS/e-Liquid.con and USA retailers are selling about 6 different versions. That and you never seem to know for sure what is going to be inside a box even if they say they are rev"4".

o ok

then instead of a taco coil, we may need a bigger coil? enough for 2 strands?
I don't think that has been ecf tried yet
No one that I know of has made one with a glow plug for a fuel injector and operated it at 12 volts yet. Maybe you should give that some thought.
