sold out

he had 15 packs of 510 and even less of the 808s, seems all of them sold within 2 hrs

If that's the case, I'm very curious how they shipped from China to the US in 2 days. Two days ago they had just received the "raw materials" and were assembling them for shipment.

Seems like we're posting at the same time 'nav'. I edited my post, I think they probably were samples if I were to guess. No one would order that few I wouldn't think.

Yes, that is curious..

I guess, still interesting that COV received any that quickly. We have other testers that were suppose to receive the first run and haven't yet.

I wonder why someone don't put together a co-op buy for E2 cartos? I was looking at the new XL and if a bunch of people got together and pooled their money we could get a good deal on them. I would buy if a co-op is set up.
PS. I just ordered 1 pack(all I could order) from clouds. The first one says out but down further on the page you can order.

...

Perhaps if Someone had written the proposal and sent it to the ECF we could have had a Co-Op.

Well they are the ceramics so I dunno about the whole China thing but I've spoken to the owner of COV and they're ceramic insides.

i'm sure somebody will put together a co-op proposal once the ceramics are out and reviewed.
what's worrisome is the company's attitude with order mistakes. being willing to make good with the next order might not be the way to go with a co-op.

Perhaps someone should get some numbers together and see what Clouds of Vapor can do in the way of a ECF Co-Op?

Saving 2 or 3 bucks is nice but I personaly would be more willing to spend a tad more and do it from COV.

my samples have not been sent yet which means my order is even further behind.

but mine are the xl samples and supposedly the ones they sold today are not.
i had 2 orders and one order was gona be the newer plastic ones, it seems they decided not to ship out the plastic ones anymore and delayed that order as well for ceramics, im cool with that

As you already know, I'm anxious about the XL's. I'm getting tired of filling these little juice hogs. So, I'm cool with that too.

I just cleaned up another batch of 510's and lost 2 more during the dry burn stage. As tough as these seem to be I'm going to change my routine a little and see if it helps.

Instead of doing continuous dry burns I'm going to start "pulsing" the burn when it turns orange to save wear and tear on the coil. I'm also going to let them air out overnight before refilling on the theory that most of the wick stays damp after cleaning. I figure that can not only affect the taste, but keep the carto from taking a full refill.

Looking forward to ceramic reviews. :)

I've been pulsing them from the beginning. When the coil gets red hot from end to end, I stop and blow in it. Then hit the button again.

Just want to take a minute to thank all of you for keeping us updated on the carto changes. I was just reading on another forum where a member said he "got his new E2 cartos 2 weeks ago and they're all crap". They appear to have no idea there are new ones out now. Thanks to all of you, we at least have current information.

So thanks! :thumb:

That's how I do dry burns and I haven't had one fail yet. Don't ask how many refills and dry burns I've done because I've been rotating about 5 cartos. I've had them all for a long time and far longer than I've been able to keep any atties.

Maybe you will get yours before they get theirs. Do you know your order status?

I do not know about the samples that were sold but I got an update e-mail today stating:

"I am so sorry now!The goods need a little more days now for the XL cartomizers and the cartomizers with ceramics inside because of something!"

No explaination on what Something is..

I had rather wait until they are no more somethings.

After you dry durn them, do you try to brush off the chared gunk or do you just rinse the out?

For better or worse, we do appear to be at the tip of the sword E2 carto wise.

Well at least you are getting updates. When did you place your order?
