After you dry durn them, do you try to brush off the chared gunk or do you just rinse the out?
I have been brushing it off. The ash looks gray when cool. Sometimes more burns are required to produce more ash. Brushing it off only gets what I see, meaning that the underside may still have some. It would probably be better if I washed it afterward, but I just blow it out, fill it up, and keep on vaping.

I have some little "Dentek" brushes from wallmart. They flex and brush off the underside of the coil too.

Is this what your using?

They look like they might have all kinds of uses.

LOL. I just then showed my wife the photo of a DenTek brush. She picked up a full pack of them from her computer table and threw them on my desk. How was I to know? I ain't got no teeth.

Well at least you don't have to run out to buy them.:)

It just shows you how wonderful wives are, they can anticipate your needs before you even know you need something.

I haven't had one die on me yet, either. I have cartos that had no glue . . . . or at least none that I could see or taste. A friend just sent me a couple that she said smelled. I am airing them out to see if anything changes. I'm won't use these if I smell or taste anything.
The dead one I have didn't die a natural death. I killed it. Actually, I tortured it to death.
