Well now, some folks may think the voltage of these batteries are a feature, not a bug, LOL. My Hello battery regulates at 3 volts and I like that. It is designed to be used with a 2.5 ohm device, and will perform about the same as a 3.7 volt battery with a 3 ohm device. My juice tastes about the same either way. The difference is that my Hello battery will maintain the same taste and TH almost throughout the entire battery charge.

My 3.7 volt battery will not do that. It starts out at that voltage, but it doesn't stay there for very long. At some point during the discharge it will be vaping at 3 volts. So what cartridge should I use? Maybe I could start out with one at 3 ohms, then change to a 2.5 ohm cartridge when the voltage drops enough. That would work. I think. I have never gone to the trouble to find out.

At this point, I need to say something about the E2. When a battery charge began playing out with an old type cartridge, I used to make some really long drags trying to get a bit of a hit before the battery shut down. I don't even notice that now. My juice actually has a better taste at 2.5 volts or less, or about when the battery shuts off.

I agree. EGo/Riva/Tornado is a whole package. I have a Riva and love it. But I only love it with my 2.4Ω cartomizers, and they are very hard to find. I don't like atomizers, eGo cartos are impossible to fill, the LR cartos run too hot for my taste, 3.Ω ones--too cool. I also had two Rivas die on me in the first two weeks (and I'm not the only one). Luckily, I got them from a reputable vendor and had them promptly replaced. So the circuitry is far from perfect.

The 3.7v stock batteries drop their voltage fast, I agree. That's why people like mods. I've been looking at smaller mods ( like the Precise or Precious) for the same reason.

As for the E2 cartos, I had no luck with those I tried earlier. The filling process is just ridiculous and I didn't much care for the off taste I was getting from them. But that was one of the earlier versions. That XL looks promising. If they fix the threading issues, and the refilling mechanism, and the tightly wrapped coil issue--I'll certainly give them another try.

Thank you all for your hard work and posting your results for all to see and read. I have a feeling that we might get some great cartomizers eventually.

I noticed the refilling holes on the new inner plug is smaller but that plug is softer then the original hard plug.

Your needle or plastic syringe they provide slides right into the little holes no matter what size needle your using, its soft so it slides in effortlessly.

removing the innerplug and replacing it has turned into a instant process for me.
again its soft and in the video ill show you how to pop it out and place it back in a snap every time. i think it was katya or someone else who posted a few pages back that actual was telling you guys how to replace the soft inner plug.

I need to get some things straight around here but ill try to get the videos and review up soon, sorry for the delay.

ill admit the older version was a pain to refill but the new ones are a breeze once you do it. and since its clear you can even tell when its full byt the color change under the inner plug

Has anyone had issues with e-liquid.cn? I placed an order 7 days ago and haven't received any notice of shipping. I have emailed them a number of times asking for status, but have no replies from them at all. I'm getting angry, this is unacceptable customer service. :(

I would second that.

I've been using pv's for a year now, and in that time I've run the progression of NJOY through 808. I own a Silver Bullet, Buzz, Indulgence, 905, Mako, and several more that I can't even recall right now, all of them now gathering dust.

I've built my own box mods using 5v regulators, I've even done some not-so-quality time with a first gen juice box.

I've dripped, dipped, squeezed, and pumped, using just about every atomizer that is on the market AFAIK.

I have more lithium batteries sitting at my charge station than my local Batteries Plus keeps in stock I think.

Well, things changed drastically a month ago when I picked up 60 of the first run of the E2 510 cartos. They are all I care to use anymore. All of my other equipment tastes flat, takes too long to get a good hit, and in general, is just a pain to use now.

I use them exclusively on stock ego batteries (with cone), and the vapor is warm (sometimes even hot), smooth, and incredibly tasty all the way until the batteries start flashing. And this is at the normal (low) eGo voltage level. I've sampled them once or twice on my other mods, even without venturing into the 4 or 5v range and they can be scalding and flavorless at 3.7v and above.

It hasn't all been sunshine and roses. Since this is the first run, I modify these immediately by removing the inner filling ring and substituting it with the silicone spacer ring from the old style 808's (I have hundreds of them sitting unused now). I also thoroughly clean and futz with the coil as has been described in this thread and others. This is no big deal, since taking this little bit of extra time rewards you with a 1ml carto that is damn near indestructible. I've thrown away 3 of them in a month, 2 of them because they had an off flavor that I couldn't get rid of (prolly the glue problem rearing it's ugly head), and one I threw away because the threads were jacked. The others are all cranking along nicely with no drop in vapor production or taste so far. I do a hot water rinse and soak and dry them overnight about every 4 or so times I refill them, for the record.

Once the dust settles, and you have these things working for you, there is no going back to anything else....

I hope it's not your email service. Many people had trouble getting the petition confirmation until it was found that AOL and maybe another service blocked ecig petitions regardless of what you want.

edit/add: ok, I see you posted.
Well Yankee802's order is recent, I think mine was not that high, I can't remember immediately, but it was in the 2500's, just definitely not as high as his. Therefore, I think his will ship very soon.

My recent one was not as big as $200 either, and just got to NY on Sunday.

Got my Ceramic CE2's today :) (KR808D-1 XL 3.7v)

Carto #1
It has the awful primer fluid on the wick. I dry burnt it for about 10 seconds and then filled the carto with some juice, and it tasted terrible for about 15 puffs. Now it tastes ok.

Carto #2
This time I removed all the caps and rinsed the carto under warm running water for a minute, then filled it with juice. Again I could taste the primer, but not as much. The taste was gone after about 10 puffs.

The inner cap (the ones with the holes sitting on the cup) is a pain to reinsert since its so soft. When you get one side in, the other lifts up and moves the cup to the side. It took a good 2 minutes to pop it back in properly.

I tested these CE2 carto's on a 3.7v GG Slim, and its a huge improvement over normal Carto's. The flavor is much better and air draw is much easier, and the threads seem to be perfect (fits KR808D-1 Battery and the GG properly).

Time to give/throw my Edition1 carto's away :)

I think that is specifically for within the U.S.
__________

I think your order is about to ship, mine was in the low 2500's and not as big as yours, and got to NY just Sunday.

Prefilled could take longer, on one occasion, they were out of the specific liquid I wanted in my vgo kit cartos. They emailed me and asked if I wanted to wait or change the liquid. I told them just empty, and shipping resumed quicker. I hope it's not your personal email service, AOL did not like the ecig petition that was born in ECF, and literally did not allow ecf members to receive the petition confirmation.

to remove the primer more i would suggest more then a ten second burn, i would keep doing 10 second burns until there is no smoke coming off and the smell is gone , so i would say to do like7 or 8 ten second burns, then do a quick brun and smell it, if it isnt hurting your nose then its clean and good to go.

They don't, AFAIK, but if you don't mention e-cig, they won't interfere.
