Turbo, how did you get the battery? because I can only find it in the ad on royal smokers, and it still says 'pre-order' by emailing them. Also, what do you mean they may not be sealed, you don't mean that they're not protected batteries, do you?

Dynasty by not paying it all up front from a U.S. vendor, you can also run up your costs with shipping 5packs very often (making the 120 XLcarto total way over $300), and if one order of 120 cartos from China can last a year, it may be better to just order 60 cartos every half year(if one were to break up a larger order anyway), but there shouldn't be any more junk received from them, I know it sounds like a broken record but that's the hope again... I myself would like to read an official post that says that no more junk will ship out.

I got it from a vendor that was trying them out and I see Vapor Junction has them in a kit form.

By not sealed I mean they are manuals (the buttons are similar to a 510 manual, not recessed like a Kanger 808) and the chamber doesn't appear to be sealed like Kangers. I need a good light to see what's going on in there.

That's a new idea, use the white plug. I see the white cap does have a grove, hum.
Have you tried dripping into it?
It's not a new idea Charlie. I've been telling you guys about using this white plug since my first ones in July, but nobody pays any attention. The older thick ones work better because they have a deeper groove. They are easy to remove for filling by a drip bottle or syringe.

This deeper groove is exactly like the groove under the filler ring of the latest revision that we have been testing. These grooves do not work for all E2's. Just most of them. I began using a new 510 day before yesterday and it leaks all over the place with the original filler ring. Just to be different for a change, I fixed it with the ptb mod.

Well since it's been properly attributed I'll take the blame and say that yes, I don't think we should have been allowed to buy from the factory directly. The number of upset members of which we don't actually have a count on, should be reason enough why this shouldn't happen. I'm glad that we have that option, but really, should we? Some of us can handle it understand the situation, others obviously can't.

This is just so bizarre... It's like you think we (the indentured peasants) have been granted some sort of huge privilege in being allowed to buy directly from eliquid.cn. The point is they WANTED to sell direct. Do you think somehow we coerced them to sell retail? Somehow they reluctantly made a poor decision to cave in to our begging to be able to buy directly from the factory and then we took advantage of that by complaining when we ... well, basically got screwed over? Is that really how you see it? What planet are you on?

must have been in one of those brain cells that i lost on the last job Billy, should have made it by for OJT, had the E2's waiting for me and still working on how to use them and what ring is what. The leaking it prevents is when they are carried right?

ya, i havn't gone to the PTB and find the vg does vape better than pg, doesn't fall off, counter to logic, would think the thicker would dry the wick sooner but pg drys sooner, go figure. What juice do you use and where did you get your E2's? I got my E2's from boxmod/COV and use Drew's pg and JC/COV's vg.

I got my E2's from COV as well and i vape 18mg Boba's Bounty 100%vg from Alien Visions E-Juice

When it works right, the white cap can prevent leaking in any position. However, I believe many of you have E2's with a more shallow groove in the white cap. These do not work near as often as the older ones. To give you an idea, I'll post some images here that have already been shown. These images are of a cutaway E2 that is used for testing. I have it rigged up so that I can see the wick while it is in actual use.

The first image is with the thick white cap from and early E2 installed. Notice that there is a thin brown stain across the ceramic cup near the bottom of the cap.

Next is two examples. On the left is a filler ring installed. On the right is a thinner white cap with a more shallow groove. Notice the brown stain across the ceramic cup. This is how far down the older cap went. Even if the white cap shown here does not prevent all leaks, it's a lot easier to install after filling or maintenance.

*****************************

Here is what the complete cutaway looks like. The left one shows the Release 3.5 filler ring installed. Notice that it goes all the way down to the brown stain. It will prevent most leaks, but not all. On the right is the same thing with sleeves over the cutouts. The cartomizer can be used with them installed, and the liquid level can be seen.

Wow, someone is a bit touchy. They never came out and said, "come buy from us directly, we want to sell people products and deal with the associated crap". The information about a new product was let out, people wanted it, they found the SUPPLIER and started buying BULK orders just like a VENDOR would have. If they wanted to sell to the public they would have offered smaller quantities and made pricing adjustments to reflect absorbing shipping cost into the product instead of leaving the costs upfront. None of this reflect a company setup to service individuals. Individuals don't buy BULK. The only thing e-liquid.cn did wrong is allow individuals to buy directly. Anyone who got the impression they were buying from a VENDOR should have paid closer attention to the details before jumping in head first.

im using the e2 on a tekkeon tek mod variable mod and im able to to duplicate the metal taste by pumping up the volts.
if i match the right volt to the e2 then i get perfect vapor every time and this is on a unmodded e2.
the 2.5 ohm e2 works like a champ at right below 3.o volts.

That's what I have found in most cases, bad. I can get by on the 3.0 volt Hello battery, but prefer a custom PT at a lower voltage.

DAM your good with those pics, did you cut it away with a flex disk or a expensive hard dremel disk? Need to see your bench ad a part of my OJT.

I just whacked each end of the window with a 32 tooth hacksaw, then hogged out in between with a bench grinder. I can't see well enough to do a neat job anymore.

I have to agree with you naviathan. I just got my first ever order of e2 and even if only half of them work I am still paying less than retail ( so far haven't found any).

and to quick1 your comment about " Do you think somehow we coerced them to sell retail?" they do not sell retail. it is wholesale. big difference

So you got your Tek huh? I'm using the older CE2's (plastic) on a Big Brother with the same results. At lower voltage they're fine.
