yes but I'm not sure that every store sells them, but this is what a box may look like, just be sure it has pyramids, not bags

Thanks John....I will check that out.

UPDATE: Rinsed with hot water again after second everclear bath. Took a while of dryburning, scraped the coils with paper clip, and NOW.....I see 5 solidly glowing orange coils on a white wick. I am going to pull up the wicks and try to unravel them some and stick them back down and go to bed. I was finally able to get the filler ring out....hot water and steaming it ALOT, LOL, may have helped!

After letting it dry overnight, I will fill with a different flavor tomorrow and try again. When I fill tomorrow, I just put about .4ml down each side near the slits, is this right? This time I am not waiting until I get a black hunk of charcoal before trying to clean it......LOL. I learned alot today! Thank you for helping me!

no problem bones
yes, it needs to be only the Lipton pyramid

On a different thought, I've been wondering about the feeder boxes that some people use, if the juice is injected into the coil area, why not just buy the lightweight 0.25 ml feeder 'mini cartos' ? (These 'minis' can still be stainless steel)

THE .25ml MINI CARTO FOR FEEDER SYSTEMS:

Also along the same thought of the mini carto, with less raw materials, less shipping weight, since they take up less room...
why not make batteries with an injector needle and reservoir for them?

Just think... A new Kanger or 510 battery would now have plenty of room to carry the reservoir and needle (because the carto shrunk!)
In other words, now the feeder boxes can shrink to the size of the ecig battery.

edit add --> (Or the reservoir and needle could take the place of the mouthpiece carto of the old 3piece ecigs, now that the carto with cup has shrunk to the size of a little high-performance atomizer, but I still would like to see the lithium batteries replaceable)

At the same time, they might as well make the actual lithium battery replaceable, in the 808d1 and 510 ecigs.

one more update: I haven't seen anyone mention this yet

I pulled up the wicks with a paper clip to unravel them.....AND THEY BROKE OFF at the level of the slits!....Nothing sharp, no extra pulling....they just fell apart....first on one side and then I played a little with the other side and it broke also. The coils are a little lose, but still glow. Now I have to use the PTB for sure. The PTB just holds the liquid like in a mesh so that it vaporizes right?....Do the tails have to touch the wick? Hmmmm, since I am using this one on a wetbox... that delivers the liquid to the cup ( I assume)....I really don't need the wicks, isn't that right? I guess I am a little unsure on the overall construction of these things.

If you continue to feed the coil with the wetbox, there should be no need to modify the wick with PTB.

Some of us fill the reservoir until we see the liquid at the bottom of the ceramic cup. There is no need to fill down both sides.

Thanks to Nightsong and John and BR!..... BTW,I know LIBERTY....my grandparents lived in Dayton, before that Daisetta, many moons ago!

and John.....I think the mini feeder carto is a great idea for the autofeeders....would be kind of like one of those little 306 LR attys ( I have never tried one) that people use for dripping, only being fed from below.

FInally, to get back to some technical aspects. THE WIRES inside the Ce2 cartomizers MUST BE SHEILDED, positive from negitive. If the center post rotates or is rotated to far in either clockwise or counter-clockwise directions the carto WILL have a short that if left on battery WILL FRY BATTERY. I did have luck with ripping the carto apart (brutal use of battery tube and adjustable wrench [works well]), finding the short and putting it back together and refilling.

What drip tip will fit the CE2? I have the 3rd edition (I think) from royal smokers and can't get any of my drip tips to fit. I have the delrin and steel and neither will fit (too big). I''m not using to drip but just like them on there.. Is anyone using a drip tip on these and what ones are you using? Also when I try to use my adapter to use my kr808 battery's they won't work either. I don't think I'm doing it wrong but can't get either of these to work with these carto's. By the way, I haven't used the ptb yet but so far, no leaking but burnt taste every now and then. Once I poke some holes in the wick, it seems to go away.

use a nail file on the derlin ones and you can shave the sides down to fit perfectly.
