i see COV is out of E2's but they have COV Voltage Meters now, he'll restock and they should be the new ones, Bruce is one (of many) of the good ones out there who took a chance on selling these "cutting edge" atty's that just a few weeks ago would destroy the threads of your PV.

That's where I get all my attys...and I have VM too... :)

Thanks nav, I got me a small pipe cutter and that worked well.

I got the switch part of the battery, this is the update,
the switch and its circuit board are all in its own mini switch carto,
for size comparison, you can see the battery itself against a 510 XL-CE2.

(The battery is about the size of a 510 ce2 xl)

The battery itself can even fit inside a syringe tube:

The same syringe size that I put the air stem and cup assembly in the earlier post.
... but it has what we used to call a drip tip in the old vaping days, the hole is larger, if you're able to see it, because this stainless steel tip (carto) has the airstem removed (the metal is hollow, in the pic below)... an XL air stem is inside the plastic part (you can barely see the air stem inside the syringe tube):

(air stem and ceramic cup in a syringe tube, with the ceramic cup part in the stainless steel upper part)

The switch has its printed circuit board, and there are 3 wires, black, white, and red, the red is the hot wire, and the black and white go to the LED part of the battery. Sorry about the pics' poor resolution, but the wires are there

in less then a weeks time many people will have the R4 delivered, so we shall see how this revision holds up to the scrutiny it will receive.

Vaping.com posted a message in the Suppliers Forum saying that they had XL R4's in stock. I didn't see them on their website, though, so I posted a reply asking when they'd be placed on their site.

Patty they're here in this page:
Cartridges

but I'm not sure because I thought no one was selling r4 yet

_______

Imyoursalt, R4 might be the last revision of the CE2
they're supposed to be even better than the R3 ceramics

Well, duh. I can't believe I didn't see them. Senior Moment Alert!!

Thanks, v1John!

Not unless you have the R3.5 with the notches.

I had one with notches that leaked while in the horizontal position. I rotated the notches away from the wick to stop it. Later on, I did a ptb mod on it just to make Bad happy. I killed the thing this morning while doing a dry burn with the voltage turned up too high.

so can anyone give me the genesis of the e2 cartos? i know about the 1st ones.... but not sure whats the difference withe the different revisions... are these revision 4 any better?

R2- Hard plastic cup/filler ring, wick slots were pinched on some/loose on others, some had a glued filler ring, silicone sealed the base inside
R3- ceramic cup, new silicone filler ring, added silicone ring above the filler ring and below the mouthpiece (the old M series had these) no glue/silicone on cap or base, primer on some wicks
R3.5 aka R3 V2- same as above but with notches on filler ring (to match wick slots in the cup), no primer (although some did)
R4 'Frankenstein'- Don't want these! Some people got a weird hybrid between R3 and R4 that's not officially out. They were a mess...
R4- Not officially out yet but soon. As far as we know it'll have no primer, a sleeve that seals the cup, and some kind of fiber that simulates a PTB mod at the wicks, which can be removed or used. Again, this is what we're waiting on so no certainties.

Anybody, feel free to add to or correct my list. I just woke up from a nap and probably missed something.

they're not supposed to get killed though, how could that happen?
it's not like you dry burn it and drop an ice cube in it

do you still have it Br? Do they break at the coil? or does the solder melt?

are you sure you wanna know how BR killed it. you might get a answer you wherent expecting. lol

by the way its oct1, national pick on br day.

 well I dunno what to expect now

___

Right Turbo, and R3.5 and R4
is where the invention of an inner baffle was also added to the slots, see the pic

The problem is that Bad's research is beginning to prove that the carto is too narrow. Sorry, I meant the inner hole, where the pink arrowas are.
