they're not supposed to get killed though, how could that happen?
it's not like you dry burn it and drop an ice cube in it

do you still have it Br? Do they break at the coil? or does the solder melt?

I have had two of these things burn out between vapes, both running at 3 volts. Therefore, they certainly can burn out at a higher voltage while burning the coil at a red hot temperature. Of the ones I have inspected after a failure, the resistance wire burned in two either almost or right at the solder joint.

Can someone tell me where to get the tea bag thing for doing badkolo's PTB mod, please? It would be wonderful if you can be specific as possible as to what exactly I need to buy, as I am not in the least bit technically inclined and since I have the flu right now, I am also half brain-dead. Thanks very much in advance. :)

Ok, well that's a relief for my worries about the solder joints at least.

_______

I hope they also make the white mouthpiece plugs with 4 holes
(I talked about that here:

earlier)

_____________

impcat, others will explain more, and the video too,
as for which stores, I know Food Lion did have it,
which other stores have you all found them at?

 well I dunno what to expect now

___

Right Turbo, and R3.5 and R4
is where the invention of an inner baffle was also added to the slots, see the pic

The problem is that Bad's research is beginning to prove that the carto is too narrow. Sorry, I meant the inner hole, where the pink arrowas are.
I don't get it. What's wrong with the inner hole? What is being proved about it?

no, impcat, the box has to specifically state that it's a pyramid.

___________
Br, I'm finding more vapor with the 4 small holes like I posted here:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...izer-technical-discussion-83.html#post1940637

Plug B is producing more vapor than plug A,
believe it or not
and so I think we need plug C (in the picture there), but maybe with smaller holes than that

something more like this:

Turbo, thanks! If I didn't have the flu, I would kiss you smack dab on the lips! LOL I sure don't want you to get this mess!

Now, I know what to get when I go out tomorrow.

Hah, no problem and yeah, I'll pass on the flu..lol...you may need to drink some and it could help your flu and cartos ;)

The two small holes in the shell of the threaded fitting determines how much air is pulled through the the cartridge. There ain't nothing you can do above that point to get more through it. I'd rather vape one of these things without any plugs, but I won't get any more vapor that way.

correct but if you place the inner plug and the center plug and the white mouth peace on the e2, the draw is not the same as if when you remove all 3 plugs and use a drip tip, the 3 plugs restrict the draw or make it harder.

and on some center plugs im noticing the hole is even smaller then the hole in the inner plug which restricts it further.

But it's not quantity and speed of air Br,

and also at the mouth end, assuming the coil produces vapor, I am
at least beginning to think I see more vapor with more openings on the white plug.

_____

The problem there Bad, is that I ran out of the draw too soon, and I still think I see more vapor
it's like a showerhead effect vs a single hose, and for some reason the vapor seems to be greater and also last long enough to see a difference

It was part of your findings as well, Br, you said you liked the least things between you and the juice, and
my further experiments do really produce more vapor, but I only used plug B

it has 4 holes, the inner one is plugged with toothpick wood, but the 4 holes are small

You can slow the air down across the coil and get more vapor, but you don't need to change to the holes to do that. Just don't pull on it so hard and you will get the same thing.

there are also other factors, like the airflow and turbulence around the coil itself, both of which are addressed in the R4.01, 4-hole mouthpiece?

____

Right Br, a more gentle vape probably addresses reduced turbulence and improved airflow around the coil towards a peak vaporization potential--I think what I'm finding is that the 4-hole mouthpiece helps do precisely these things, gentler airflow, less trubulence, improved aerodynamics

_____

I feel like the ptb thing, it's just one of those believe it or nots type of thing
some doubted the ptb until they tried it, and I was not expecting a difference with 4 holes (center one plugged) until I actually made one

The holes in my new filler rings are .136" diameter. The hole in my brass filler tip is much smaller than that at .096" diameter. Now, most people may think that I get less through my tip, but that ain't so. I can quickly pull it out for an A-B comparison and the amount of air through the wide open assembly is the same, regardless of how hard I pull on it.

how do you get the same draw feel form a smaller hole, not that i dont belive you i just dont get it.

if you close the hole in the mouthpeace half way, it obviously will tighten the draw, so im not sure what we are discussing here.

i mean the feel of the draw is noticeable, im doing it now, the one with all 3 plugs is tighter then my non plugged one.

unless its a placebo effect im feeling.
