Not only that, but it's been hard to get people to answer one poll correctly - imagine getting them to answer several! LOL

Plus, I needed all of the same people to answer all of the questions.

That way, it can be easily reference, such as, "Of the 800 people polled, 100% were smokers and 93.64% are over the age of 26."

If I had seperate polls, maybe one poll would have 500 people and the other 750 - messing up all of the numbers.

I do wish they had more options! I had 20 questions written out until I went to post the poll and found out I had to severely scale back. I don't get the limit.

Wow. The poll answers are painting a pretty clear picture so far. Very cool.

If the headaches continue with people skipping questions, you could ditch this and set it up externally on one of those polling sites, like this.

Shocking to me also, OTD.

Not really shocking. Shows a general... how would one say it... lack of knowledge of what the alternatives are about. It's expected.

Unfortunately all to many people think the only alternatives are PV's or cigarettes, which is just another variation on quit or die.

As did I but only because I know that I would. Plain and simple.. I can live without them but I have no desire to live without them if I don't have this alternative. I never had any desire to quit smoking. I tried these on a lark to see how they were and as a possible way to save money. They work well enough to replace cigs for me but not because I'm worried about cigs killing me. I deserve one bad habit it's just nice that now that habit isn't so...

I agree completely.

I did not purchase my ecig with ANY interest in quitting. I actually just wanted to be able to smoke MORE! I wanted to be able to smoke inside, smoke in movies, smoke on trains, etc. After a week of using the ecig, I just naturally stopped buying cigarettes. I enjoyed the ecig more than I enjoyed the tobacco. Vapor tasted better than smoke. Quitting was a natural side effect of vaporizing for me. A very good side effect!:D

Please add the following votes:

I smoke tobacco 0-25% what I did before using ecigs: nbourbaki

I have NOT experienced improved health effects since swithcing to ecigs: Swipple, nbourbaki

If ecigs were banned, I'd use NRTs or quit cold turkey, not smoke tobacco or use smokefree alternative: nbourbaki

Thanks!

17 people missed question #1

6 people missed question #4

2 people gave BOTH answers for question #5 (Sorry, but you can't be under 26 AND over 26, LOL!)

2 people missed question #6

You will have to be deleted if you don't have a mod fix your answers - so please check!

Wow...look how many people would start smoking tobacco again if e-cigs were banned. I would...probably, I'd hate it, but I would. Actually...I'd start processing my own nicotine and juices and hope my batteries and PTs lasted along time :p

Kinda shows ya how much e-cigs really help people :D

Rechargeable batts can be purchased REGARDLESS of ecig ban.

Atomizers might be harder to come by. That's why I have about 75 of them. Should last long enough for me to learn to make my own, or I find some 'other' supply of them. :D

Not necessarily true. I'm well aware of the other alternatives. I'm also well aware of what options I would choose not to use.

You may be aware of them Thy but far too many aren't.

That's why you have folks like myself and Twisted Victor and Stubby and others evangelizing, when applicable, the harm reduction aspects of the smokeless products. The downright fun as well!

I wasn't saying that was a bad thing at all otd. As a matter of fact it's a good thing that you guys try to help that way.

Just the way Stubby chose to add in the
" ... how would one say it..."
made the statement come across more as a slight than a concern ;)

Which could be the way he meant it or could be just the way I was reading it. Thus why text is a bad form of communication due to the lack of inflection.

Either way I'll stick with my choices and if others go down the smokeless road more power to em :thumb:
