The battery capacity is usually measured to the lowest voltage the battery can go (usually 2.6v-2.75v). The Istick cuts off at 3.3v so while the battery might be a 2200mah rating, it's not using the full capacity (and it's not linear). The upside to this is that the battery will last much longer than if you drained down to 2.75v.

For $150 I can buy at least 4 or 5 iSticks, that will easily fit in my pocket, perform very well, and are a nice replacement for eGo spinners. The IPV Mini looks interesting but not for the price point.

And Isn't the iPV Mini gonna cost about 70 Bucks in 2 months when the Next "Latest-n-Greatest" APV comes out anyway?
I just recieved mine in the mail today. Came in fully charged......threw a Nautilus mini on it and......WOW.......love the flavor explosion at 11.5W
I ordered a second iStick from them yesterday afternoon around 5. Got the shipped notification this morning.

Yeah. Saw that. I pity the fools who jump on-board the iPV mini for $150. I'd sooner spend the extra $40 and get a VS rDNA 40...

I've been browsing this thread, as I don't yet have an iStick, but I wanted to drop in my 
about Rock Bottom Vapes. I've ordered a few things from them recently, and they have been stellar regarding all facets of my orders. Great prices, quick shipping, and so far excellent customer service. $34 for the iStick from them is well worth the money for as good as most of you have been commenting on the capabilities of the iStick. If I hadn't already blown my vape budget for this month, I'd probably be getting one myself

VapeNW is $34.95 like it has been all week. I ordered mine on a Friday afternoon (WA), and it arrived on Monday (VA). That's a good price at Rock Bottom if you can actually make use of the wall charger and cable. I actually could, as an acquaintance of mine has been asking me to put him on (but it's only after he's been drinking).
I actually prefer the ebay route because I have paypal to back me up in case there is an issue. Either way you're spending about the same amount.
So my backup iStick I lend to him is now "HIS"......

Yes, you need Ni200 to take advantage of temp control. If you use Kanthal A1, it will function w/o temp control. Minimum of .16 ohms for A1, .10 ohms for Ni200. I already have Ni200 wire

Don't be fooled by Paypal's policies. They aren't as helpful as you might think. You're better off with your cc protection. Paypal gets paid by the seller, not the buyer so they're not that helpful when trying to resolve issues. You are the customer of the CC company and they will step up for you in ways Paypal can't/won't.
I'm not a modder and don't recall the difference between the "D" and regular DNA boards but there is an Evolv DNA 40D. The "D" Evolv boards are also used in the Vapor Shark rDNAs.
I got an iStick this week from ebay. The box has a scratch off number for authenticity and references www.eleafworld.com. I've looked all over that site and can't find where to verify the numbers. Anyone know?
The "D" boards seem to be something Evolv makes for Protvaper and Vapor Shark rather than it being a retail board. I recall someone kvetching that there were some sort of issues replacing one of the VS DNA chips with a retail Evolv chip because of differences. If someone is planning on doing a DIY board upgrade it would probably be a very good idea to double check.
These mods use the "D" designation and Protovaper lists the DNA 40D chip in the product description as what is used in their XPV DNA-40D. Doubt if these are all typos.
