Well I have seen several comments saying if you own the original there is no compelling reason to upgrade outside of the easier fill and afc control. Lemo 2 gives less capacity, and more air flow. Two downsides for me. I like the higher capacity and tighter draw. I have my originals set to almost 3/4 closed. Seems like these new tanks are catering to much higher wattage vaping. Again not my thing. I think I will save my money and stick to my originals. Maybe I can find some fire sales on the version 1 and grab a few more.

If they make a higher capacity (5ml) version then this will replace the original hands down. You can manage the higher wattage with higher ohm coil builds and the air flow can be shut down completely. Just so much more convenience not having to remove the tank, unscrewing the bottom and then removing the screw to fill like on the original Lemo. The tank remains installed during the fill process.

I think I'm going to get one of these. Tired of having to fill my kayfun while at work. I use a 5/64 drill bit on it to make my coils. Would that work for this?
5/64 = 2mm. That would work but be a bit small and limit the amount of wick. I use 2.4 mm in my Lemo 1's which has the same deck. 2.4 to 3 mm would work best, IMO.

okay so I think I found the reason as to why my lemo 2 was leaking out the airholes after a refil.

Originally I would close the AFC, open the fill port, tilt the lemo 2 and fill with my dropper bottle. Then i would sit it upright and close the fill port.

I just refilled it the same way, however when I close the fill port I tried closing it while tilted. I tried to basically invert the tank as much as i could without letting the liquid come out of the fill port, then close the fill port.

Seems to have done the trick. Now there is no gurgle or leaking after refil. Im super happy now.

I dont know why it makes a difference, I know nothing of air pressure and how it acts under these situations. I would imagine when i close the fill port sitting upright, maybe the air cant escape from the fill hole therefore pressurizing the liquid into the chamber. So, when tilted and closing the fill port the air can escape more easily. I dont know, thats just the assumption im making right now haha.

Oh one other cool thing I noticed over time is that I have been reading people saying the fill port is extremely hard to open. Mine was this way. I really struggled to open the damn thing for the first few days of ownership. Now for some reason, the fill port ring twists extremely easily and is a joy to use. There is still resistance when twisting, but a good resistance. Maybe it just had to break in.

Been running 3 mm's and it gives great results.

Currently I'm running a 3mm twisted 26 kanthal @.5 ohms (cotton wick) on a Stingray X and it runs like a champ.

How is flavor with your build? I'm finding the stock coil a little bland in the flavor department. Clouds are decent but was expecting more flavor. Is 26 kanthal twisted best way to go? Or can I build some that can give me better flavor with the wire they provided with the tank? Is it possible to build a vertical coil on it?

The flavor is quite good with this coil if you back down the airflow to 1/3 or less. I can't honestly say it's the best coil design but I'd say give it a try if you have the wick and wire to play with. Heats up a little slower than the stock or any nichrome coil of course but if you preheat slightly or multi-hit it you will still get great vapor even with the reduced airflow.

Give it a shot!

After 24 hours with the Lemo 2 I'm really loving it - wish they had kept the capacity at 5ml but this tank is easy to fill and doesn't leak a drop when wicked and filled properly. Running an 8 wrap 26g kanthal wicked with Japanese cotton at 25-30 watts and the flavor and vapor production is superb. Will be throwing a parallel build in it later to see how that does.

Lemo 2 is my first RTA so I'm having a bit of learning curve here. I pulled the stock coil and replaced with 26g kanthal 8 wraps at 3mm. I landed the coil in the post and it's reading 1.3ohms. Wicking with ... cotton.

Trying to figure out just the right amount of cotton. Either it's giving occasionally dry hits or its slightly leaking. Both suck!

So should I be seeing bubbles from the juice channels or not?
Does it matter if bubbles only come from one side? Seems like every other wick job I only get bubbles from one side.

Running it on an istick 50 @ 20-30 watts depending on how my wick is working. Any suggestions or pics of a wick that works for you would be awesome. Thanks

Running airflow half to full open. Still trying to find that sweet spot.

From my experience don't let the wick get into the channels for the juice. Just let it sit on the build deck and tuck the bottom of it under a little so no wicks gets down in the little channels. You want to keep those channels free of any wick coming up to the deck so the juice can flow up to the cotton freely. Once you put the chimney section on have a good look down there and make sure you can see the channels on each side of the deck are still free of any cotton. Use a toothpick or whatever and poke it down there so you can see the channels.

Thanks for the reply, so I want to pack the cotton next to the coil deck. So that I can see the juice channels.

    Am I interpreting that correctly?
