I received my lemo 2 yesterday with my sx mini m. I used the sx mini with a lemo drop because I didn't feel like cleaning the lemo 2. SX Mini worked well and the flavor was great as I am used to with the drop. Set up my lemo 2 this morning and built a .10 coil using nickel wire. The lemo 2 is performing well with no leaks, but it definitely lacks the flavor of the drop. Love the conveniences of the 2, but if the flavor doesn't get better, it will probably sit on the shelf.

I made a GIANT pancake wick in it yesterday. It goes from edge to edge on the deck. No dry hits, and fantastic flavor.

No complaints about this tank now (flavor was my biggest complaint). It took some messing with it and a few days, but it's topping my list now.

Turns out I was getting flooding from how I was filling it, not from how I wicked it. Don't fill this tank upright, it WILL flood. If anything tilt it slightly down towards the fill hole when filling. No more floods.

I've put in many different builds and wicking styles and every time I get dry hits after a few drags. Doesn't matter how low the build is, how large or spaced out the coil is, where the wicking is placed, if I go above 33ish watts its just terrible..

One big thing I noticed (I was getting lots of dry hits too) is the harder you pull on it, the better it wicks. It's a 'vaccuum thing' that I can't scientifically explain, but if you take a few big drags on it, your wick will be wetter than the front row at a Beiber concert.

When I first opened up the lemo 2 and saw that massive wicking monstrosity, I laughed and was like wtf? It should be a clue that this puppy needs a good quantity of wicking material. I yanked the original build out to clean the machine oil off it and re did it my usual way but with more than usual wick and it has been flawless since day one.

Agree with Joe and Grendel both...needs loads of wicking and demands strong lung hits. Dial both of those in and you have one hell of a tank.

For those still finding flavor lacking, both of these will help you as well. Strong draws will help keep that wick saturated which will increase the flavor level substantially as will closing down the air somewhat depending on your draw. This tank allows for deep lung hits with that increased airflow but will fade the flavor somewhat. The good news is that you can close the airflow down quite a bit and still get excellent airflow and more flavor. Not everyone will like the flavor from this tank when it's full bore- wide open--but close it down a bit and you may just find that it meets your needs.

+1 on the deeper draws working. It is a lung hitters tank for sure. Also as the Sgt said closing down afc a bit increases flavor and some say a narrower driptip helps as well. I use a kayfun v4 tip on mine sometimes and sometimes the one it came with. They both work good on it.

The pancake wick was your answer? I tried it last night and still nothing. What kind of cotton are you using. I'm currently using Shisedo. Love everything about this tank, i just need to figure out this flavour thing.

I used a regular ol' organic cotton ball. It took a couple hours of vaping on and off, and it sitting in the juice overnight for it to 'break in' but after that, it's been stellar.

Rule of thumb: Never judge flavor until you give your wick some time to break in.

Super easy, flavor was just OK, but I did make the inner diameter pretty huge. A smaller coil will probably produce better flavor.

I may have to give it a shot, only thing that worries me making it any smaller may flood it. looks like there is a lot of space left over in the chamber.

If I did it over again, I would make less wraps, and I would use Kanthal instead of Nichrome. Ramp up time was too long.

2.4 to 3mm is a good inner diameter too.

For flavor? I would do 2.4mm ID / 26 gauge kanthal / 6 wrap chimney coil. Wrap it in cotton, and set the wicks over the channels, not in them or blocking them.

I have duals of this exact build in a Orchid right now, and flavor is outstanding.

Wick takes a little time to break in, but once it does, it's good to go. Don't give up on it after the first few hits.

Edit: watch some videos on how to wick a chimney coil, it's a little tricky, but works great. A lot of tanks (Atlantis/Heracles/etc.) are doing chimney coils in their OCC heads because of the flavor.

Aww..yeah. Lemo 2 time. Dang, this thing came drenched in machine oil. Not water, or moisture, or whatever Phil called it, straight machine oil. All over, o-rings, threads, afc, chimney, just everywhere, under the peek insulator. Giving it a bath now.

This will definitely be my last eleaf purchase, even if it does vape like a dream, they aren't getting another penny from me.
