I know you guys like to RIP on ol' RIP, but this actually worked. So I took the stock coil, spaced it out to make a 'standard coil' and wicked it like the video. The best I can describe it when it's done is like this:

The first thing I did when I received mine last week was to take it completely apart and put it in the ultrasonic bath a few times to ensure any oils or dirt was cleaned away.

Anyone have 510 connection problems with their Lemo 2? I've tried it in both my SX Mini and istick 30W, neither of which will it work. The only way I can get a connection is to use an ego adapter or unscrew the pin in the coil stand (though that it isn't a workable solution).

My guess is that the material holding in the 510 center pin on the atomizer base is stiffer than the spring-loaded connector in my mods, thus it's not being pushed in enough to make contact.

4. Before screwing the Lemo 2 on to your atomizer, take it and push it hard against a solid surface. While pushing down, move it around a bit too. This should hopefully set the pin snuggly in to the rubber insulator that is holding it, and also assist with making a solid connection to the positive screw.

If none of that works, you may need to (gently) push the insulator that holds the 510 pin up in to the base a bit further.

My three Lemo 2s were all OK from the factory, but I have started to have some connectivity issues that appear to be increasing my resistance. Every rebuild (1-2 times per week), I do all of the steps above after a thorough cleaning and they've been holding up very well.

Thanks for the tips, I'll keep them in mind should the problem resurface. Under the theory that it was insulator being the problem, I put the atomizer base down on the table, then beat the 510 pin with a half-pound rubber mallet. Now I can get a connection, which hopefully shall stay that way.

I have not received my lemo 2 yet, but I was having some issues with resistance being different in my lemo drop after filling it. I discovered that I was not tightening the base well enough. After starting to get it as tight as I could with my fingers, the resistance would always return to what it should be.

Seem to me a pancake style wick would be a leaking s.o.b.in any lemo b/c of the size of the juice shelves on the build deck. Doubt you can lay it on its side without major flooding.

Do you think lightly stuffing the channels would help prevent the leaking? I like this build mostly because of the flavor you get. Every other wicking method produced dull muted vapor.

I have'nt tried a pancake wick but I did watch Trippers vid on it to see what one was. I had some issues with my lemo 1 that I dont with my V2. When I saw the part where he does the initial cut and pancaking and no wicking material was touching the shelves, I thought to myself, that ain't happnin with a lemo.
Maybe a combo of a longer(wider)cut pancake wick and a navy/bridge wick would help.
Edit: I think wick in the channels is going to be counter productive. You can give it a shot and see.

Don't do it, you'll be right back in there redoing it.
One thing that I learned early on with the Lemo is you MUST keep the juice channels clear or your wick will not be able to keep up.

This is what I had in mind. (please excuse the crude MS Paint drawing) to hopefully help cut back on the leaking aspect..

Not stuffed to the channels, but (an attmpt at) blocking the juice. After the chimney is screwed down just pack a little bit around the wick lightly. Just a thought..

I love the flavor but it does leak if left somewhat sideways (aka in my pocket)

I think those bits extending to chamber wall would need to be below the height of the airflow hole under the coil if it was going to help block excess juice from flooding. Not sure how to go about it though.

If it's not flooding, it's hitting dry, or flavor is garbage. I can't seem to get this thing figured out.

This is not a problem I encounter with my dual coil RTA's (Orchid, Goblin, Goliath).

I got the Lemo 2 because of the top fill, but it just seems like the channels can't keep up with my vaping.

The bubbles just arent there, unless I tilt it sideways.

I run a 3mm spaced wrap coil at 1 ohm on mine. Wicked with rayon and trimmed to lay on the juice shelves. I dont thin the volume of the wick ends . I prime and place the wick before attaching chimney base. After its placed away from the juice channels (i dont press the whole wick against the deck wall. I just kinda work the ends in against the block) i screw lower part of chimney on and then check to make sure it didnt move.
Test fire it, then assemble and fill.

He did a sloppy build, squirted dripper all over the fill hole in a milisecond and blamed the atty in the end

and the drip tip drama of course, is this the first atty review of his with wide bore drip tip ?

Little dissapointed and made me feel Eleaf didnt make him happy somehow. Looked like sided.

so you would give a shot if there is a lack of wicking
