Using the Lemo 2 since yesterday, flavor is amazing, no dry hits with 80/20.

But it's got a slow but constant leak. Started after the second fill, first tank was fine. Airflow always closed when filling. Maybe the coil is too low? (It's a bit lower than the stock coil) Any other hints? Please help!

I know, especially when "new", the seals and oring like to try to escape when you disassemble the tank.

I'm sure you checked to be sure that the black oring is there on the top of the chimney shaft right? Happened to me first time with one of mine..no oring=slow leaker...

Loving the Lemo 2 enough that I bought two! Just wish they'd make it in black!

Ditto on stray cotton thread causing popping... That's pretty much the only thing that consistently causes it for me. (Well, except RDAs but that's a different reason entirely. Lol)
As far as dry hits... How many times have you re-wicked the same coil? For me, random dry-ish hits (not burning but beginning to dry) is the main signal I need to rebuild entirely vs rewick. If that doesn't seem to apply, then yes to what others have said about the wick tails, that's a lot of it, but so also is the wick diameter/thickness, and with that you kinda have to just play around - slightly more, slightly less - we can describe it fifty ways all saying the same thing, but it won't ever quite "light bulb" how to replicate it til you feel it with your hands and see it with your eyes. You will eventually hit the perfect one, and then you'll be basically set - repeating what you've once done is much easier :) last thing I can think of is if you get VERY frustrated, try a different wicking material. For me, I spent 2 weeks of vape hell when I began RBA tanks, til I was given some cotton bacon. Expensive as heck (by cotton standards - $6-7 for a pack) and I haven't the foggiest idea what the difference is, but I swear it works better. It worked for me when nothing else did. Once I had my "light bulb" moment, I now use mostly KGD because its actually less expensive. But still to this day I keep some cotton bacon around because sometimes I have a day nothing seems to work right and pulling that out is what saves me every time. Maybe it's a placebo effect, as I've yet to put my finger on any real differentiation other than the results I get, but hey if you ever reach the point of "I wanna throw this thing out the window" it becomes a game of whatever works, right? lol

No problems with dry hits...

Tried filling it horizontaly, finger on drip tip, AFC closed... worked for a bit, no leaking after filling. An hour later, random leaking a couple minutes after vaping.

JimScotty, wouldn't extra vacuum create more problems with leakage? If constant fiddling with the AFC is the only way to keep it from leaking, then this definitely isn't the tank for my wife (or did you only mean that you do that once, after the tank fill).
I only need to do it just after filling a tank and if you are using it immediately you should be ok.

Staff some cotton in to the base. It's not a Lemo 2 leaking but condensate. And it dripping from the holes after you tip over the RTA to take a drag.

Glad it helped Apathy...keep us posted! It can be done mid-tank too, if it stops flowing well open briefly, cover drip tip, close... I can't take the credit, a friend here showed me that trick. Lol. Oh and speaking of tricks, hey ErnieKim your tricks did work on the Subtank Mini months ago... I replaced my mini rba deck with the then-new one that had juice channels all the way down, filed out the holes on the chimney a bit bigger, and voila... Idr if I ever said thanks, but trust me it's appreciated! That's still my backup tank. You're awesome :)

You're very welcome.
I've been on the sideline waiting for my new Lemo 2. I didn't realize that I ordered from a Chinese company. They were sneaky how they said: "ships from USA". It did indeed ship from NY, 2 weeks after it came in on a plane from China.

I REALLY like the Lemo. I went ahead with the coil that was in it, after I took the cotton out and ran it through the dishwasher. It's surprising how much flavor you get in spite of all that airflow. I didn't expect the flavor to be so good. Does anyone know why it's so good?

I need to go back and read through all the posts here.

My new Flavorite tank!

I'd get this baby, but I never seem to build right, and after a while things taste funky and seem to not work. Probably can't build for crap, which sucks.
Sounds like your wicking is a bit off? When you put the lower part of the chimney on the build deck, look inside and make sure you can see the juice channels. You should see a bubble every time you take a hit.

Followed this wicking video sent by Grendel (thanks!), sadly, still getting the occasional leak. On top of that, she's been getting dry hits as well. All the o-rings are there, and the leak doesn't seem to be condesate... we vape 80/20 juice, so it's pretty thick, even the leaks. Big thanks to all who are trying to help!

Gonna try vaping hers for a while, at 30w instead of her usual 18.5. She's gonna vape mine (an Aquav2 on a Zero clone), and see what happens. I'm just wondering if it's something weird she's doing, idk. It's been an ongoing issue for her, running all the way back to the kayfun (which NEVER leaked for me). After the kayfun, she used an Aqua v2 in single coil mode, and had the same leaking issues, which I chalked up to running a dual coil atty with one coil. Hence the desire to find an atty intended to be used with one coil, which lead me to the Lemo v2.

My sister used my Protank 3, Subtank Mini & my Lemo 2 for awhile each. She hated em all for leaking til I watched her puff one day. She exhaled thru the drip tip too. [HASHTAG]#smh[/HASHTAG] lol I've never let her live that down to this day '-D

I've been running a Lemo II/I Stick 50 combo for a couple three weeks...26 G..2.5 mm coil....forgot the exact wraps but ohms are 1.3...Wicked w/Chaddo's cotton...tails cut to just touch the deck....I run the air a little less than 1/2 open...Target ohms would be @ .8 or .9 but that was my first 2.5 coil with 26 G wire...No game changer but not too shabby either....

I found the center pin not to be fully tightened...There was a small leak but just a slight tightening solved that....I always had to clean it up after filling...My method is close the air and place a finger over the tip...No leaks that way....Just fill away....Gonna try a foam ear plug in the tip too free my finger...
