Reading about people throwing their Lemos away makes me want to cry.

For the Lemo, I have hardly any leaking at all with the wicks cut even right on the lower part of the deck above the juice channels. Same with the Lemo 2. I am using Nickel in them both right now.

And when I say "hardly" I mean a little smear around the airholes on the Lemo and the AFC on the Lemo 2 and only right after filling. Well, as long as I don't leave them laying on their side for any length of time.

I have been thinking of trying TC, I have a couple of dna 40's I run with kanthal. What kind of build are you using, I have 30-28-26 Ni200 but have not used it yet. I'm an old guy and new things tend to confuse me.

You should absolutely try temp protection. That's all I run on 6 mods now, all DNA40's. I bought a SX Mini M to try out the Yihi chip and it's not bad but don't like the form factor or weight of the SXM so I'm selling it but I ordered a Boxer mod (Yihi SX350j, dual batteries) from Ginger Vapes.

I would recommend 28g as 30g is too flimsy. 28g is easier to work with but you still need to be gentle with it. I think it'd be hard to get to the minimum ohms with 26g in a decent sized coil. I use 28g, 7 wraps spaced, 3mm ID.

I second the 28g. I use 7 wraps on 3mm also in my Lemo 2 (.086ohm) but I like the SX Mini M performance better than my Vapor Shark rDNA 40. Have you installed the Yihi chip upgrade?

I like the chip, not the mod. The Boxer mod is a dual battery SX350j mod. I'm a tech geek so I installed v2.2 after a few puffs on v1.4. :thumb:

I don't think it's any better or worse than a DNA40, just different. I'm more comfortable with the DNA40 and I only have one that has a screen glitch (Hana v4) but the screen resets after you release the fire button so it's not really an issue. It has absolutely no affect on the vape. My other 5 DNA40 mods are perfect.

I used 26, about 12 wraps or so in the Lemo, comes out to around .09, the Lemo 2 is using 10 wraps and it reads at .08 ohms. No problem firing on the SX Mini and the IPV4.

Oh, I wrap around a screw that is little over 3mm in diameter, it is a fine thread, holds the coil in perfectly while I work with this thin and soft Nickel wire. I highly recommend finding one as it will leave your coils perfectly spaced.

Will give it a try, are you using cotton or rayon to wick?

Try titanium wire, 26AWG 5 wraps @3mm.
First time ever my 4x dna40 devices worked properly and at .21 ohm you can swap back and forth with an sx350 device. I had completely given up on nickel builds in a dna40. Also feiw have not evidenced any screen corruption with the Ti builds.
Just drop the temp back to ~ 300 degrees.

Ti never really interested me. Ni200 is working great for me.

I used to have a KLR. Great bike but I needed a bit more power for long distance trips.

I hope the website pic is correct. I have been holding out hoping they would release a black LEMO 2. I really want to get this RTA.
I never liked colored attys. But since I have 2 black mods in vapemail I really want one. Or two. Or ... whatever.

And I really dig that black Lemo. I wrote Eleaf a message 10 minutes ago asking for a black Lemo 2.

I'm still in the "getting to know you" phase of RTA romance. Apparently I keep overfilling them, so they leak at first. One, I had to re-wick after some flooding that then led to a nasty dry hit, but after tearing it down discovering the wick was only slightly singed. The bottom base section on the Lemo 2 is slightly less annoying than the similar one on the Aqua V2 clone, but still tends to leak from there.

Shutting the airflow down a bit makes it whistle, which I can live with. The Stingray X driptips I purchased work really well on these and don't look half bad either.

Still a little love/hate going on, but I'm slowly acquainting myself with the Lemo 2. It took nearly a year for me to love my original Fogger V1.5. Hopefully sooner than later I come to appreciate them and trust them enough to take them out of the house.

I had really good experience with my lemo 2s, missed the first 1 so cant compare but they have been my go to atty now. Before I was using an erlk for 5 months and aqua v2. Still use my Cthulhu for a big hit but the lemo has been very easy. More more and more wick in this one. I cut wick just to touching base and pome a small gap where the juice channel flows. ... cotton or rayon is just fine and I have been using only 78 to 80 vg juice with 1 percent water and I have had no problems. If I chai vape and abuse it with long walk I can get a build up in lower deck but thats fine as its contained. Highly recommended.

I did end up taking one of my Lemo 2s with me when I went to visit family, and I'm happy to see that there was no leaking from being laid on the car seat while driving or while inside my cargo pants pocket. I just need to be careful during filling.

I've been enjoying the flavor from them, and they certainly throw out the vapor.

I am having a very hard time trapping 26 or 24awg wire under those tiny screws and I always have to turn the wire twice around the screw, thing which is a little bit difficult to do. Am I doing something wrong? In all youtube videos I've watched the reviewer manages to trap the wire with just half a turn. Any help would be appreciated.

I changed out all my screws with these, which were posted by another member. I don't even bend wire around screw any more, just slide wire in and tighten, works great even on 25 ga I use.

I just got a Lemo 2 from FT, it did come with a security code sticker that was partially torn off. It came clean with no machine oil whatsoever. I got it mainly for the top fill and the single coil deck. I took it apart and changed the .5 ohm coil to a spaced 1.5 ohm coil with Jcotton.
The flavor is very good with the vents open about 2mm. It does leak but only after filling so I open the air vents, then close them, then open again to 2mm and its good.

I've been using a Flash E-Vapor VS 17mm and it has never leaked even when laid down for a day.
It took a while to figure out the best wicking & fiddling with the the mesh but once I got it was great. Filling is very easy & I can work on the coil anytime. I only wish the deck had holes under the screws like the Lemo 2 does, putting the coil lead around the screw is a pain!

They are both great tanks with different quirks.
All in all, happy with my purchase.
