I had my suspicions about the wick but was not sure.
Should have stated this before but I'm still using the original build. This is my first rta so I'm kinda in the dark.
How long should the wick last in this rta before replacing?
The cotton I have is the 2x2 patches I have used for micro coils. Is this acceptable for use in this RTA or should I use different stuff? If yes, then what would you recommend?

I'm having the same leakage issue with the original build. But I'm confident from experience with the original Lemo that I'll be fine when I find a good build for it and my 50/50 juice. I'm wondering if the original build was expecting VG heavy liquids.

The wick will last as long as the wick lasts. Wick life vaires a lot by the juice being vaped and the preferences of the vaper. If you're vaping the same juice, not letting it burn dry, and the juice isn't a gunker, it can last a couple of weeks or maybe even longer. I like to change juice flavors a lot, and will change the wick if I think the past flavor won't clear from the wick quickly. I can last about week, or maybe a week and a half, before I end up changing the wick.

And the cotton pads should work just fine.

I keep reading about the problems that some people have with there Lemo 2 as far as leaking / flooding / gurgling is concerned.

I had the same problems with an authentic Kayfun Lite-Plus until I learned how to wick it properly.

I just wonder if the Lemo 2 is just as finicky as the Kayfun is ... Are there any people here that have NOT had any problems with there Lemo 2 ... I just hate to have to go through a full 'learning curve' all over again that I initially had to go through with that Kayfun.

I got mine yesterday, no issues, No leaks, no gurgles, couple dry hits when chain vaping. Juice is around 60/40 vg/pg, im guessing, its noticably thicker than 50/50.
I came from the KFL's, wicked this just like I wick those, and my Subtank mini. So far I like it, good flavor, good vapor, the airflow is crazy, I cut it down to about 1/4 open.

I will state that I watched a video on it basically due to the filling technique. easy as pie, Tho i do miss my Subtank mini ability to play with the coil without losing juice.

I have 3 of the Lemo 2 tanks and initially I had a leak or 2. Now what I do is make sure to close the airflow ring all the way when I put the mod down or change tanks on my mod. Even with them laying on their side as long as the airflow is closed I haven't gotten any leaks.

The only issue I ever had was when I first combined max VG with high power. A single unfired pull after a fill-up restores the vacuum every time - never had to prime other than once after each fill - and I did not come up with that, lol but I don't remember who it was...someone here on ECF tho. Anyway after that I was good to go!

Believe me - my dad has my Lemo 2 now and if he can do it, anybody can, he used my old Subtank Mini first, hated it for wicking issues, and has tried exactly one wicking session on each of my tanks before falling in love with this one. It was on my shelf cuz I have yet to find a tank I like better than the Billow. He uses it every day now lol

I have two Lemo 2's, and I've found that there's a fine line between too much wick (causing dry hits), and too little wick (causing leaking). I do two different builds in mine....a 1ohm build, and .5ohm build. I generally wick both the same, and run 70vg juice through them without issues.

One of the things to remember is that when you fill the tank up, you basically need to chain vape it for a few minutes to create negative pressure in the tank. This will keep it from leaking. Basically, vape the snot out of it until you start seeing bubbles come out from the juice channels, and you should be good.

I rewicked and that helped....at least for a while. I was surprised to see that you replaced the cotton only after 3-4 tankfuls. I did not realize that there is that much maintenance required. Not that its difficult, but I go through 4 plus tankfuls in a day.
Absolutely love the flavor so I guess I gotta quit being lazy....... I guess, if I have to.

I don't loose juice in my Lemo's, just open the fill hole and insert syringe and suck the juice out. Sure you might loose a bit that is on the internal parts and in your wick but not a great loss. (you DON'T have to dump the entire tank to work on your build) Just sayin....

Lol or just when you assemble it tighten the chimney/top firmly, leave the chimney/deck a bit looser - that way you can invert the tank & unscrew the deck without it all coming apart in your hands. Set the main body of the tank down still inverted and do your thing on your build reassemble and voilá - minor seeping but no big deal, and much less hassle

I rebuild mine about once a week, sometimes longer in between builds. There have been a few times where I just rewick it and keep going.

It's just a matter of finding the method that works best for the tank . keep

Just got my Lemo2 last night, primed the wick and build that came with it and filled it up and it was amazing BUT picked it up this morning and 3/4 of the tank was on my ipv mini2 and all over my counter.

Can the lemo2 be overfilled? I tipped sideways and dripped in the fill slot until it was up to the fill hole, then closed it and it vaped fine for the 10 or 15min i used it before bed. It appeared to have come out the air holes. Everything was nice and tight and im not sure where I went wrong. Im used to the original subtank and billow2 where I fill to the brim and go at it but maybe I cant here.

How much do you guys fill it up??

I pretty much fill mine until it can't hold anymore juice. Then I chain vape the snot out of it until I start getting bubbles coming up from the juice channels. I can leave it as long as I like after that, and it's totally fine.

That about exactly what i did. Bummer i was hoping that was my issue. I can chain vape at 20 watts on this thing without a single dry hit and the bubbles flow nicely. I thought with as much cotton as it came packed with that leaking/flooding wouldn't be an issue at all but i was wrong last night. I wiped it off this morning and filled back up (but not as full as last night) and havent had a single issue all day. Air holes are dry as a bone and its putting my billow v2 to shame in the flavor and vapor departments. I just can't figure out what happened but i guess we'll see if it does it tonight.

Ive always left my airholes open over night on all my tanks...could it be that I shouldn't with the Lemo2? What do you do all do with it over night, open or closed?

Got the Lemo 2 on Friday, I used the coil that was installed, as it looked good enough, but did rewick it, I wicked it the same as I use to wick the Lemo 1, with just enough wick to touch the deck, which worked fine for the 1st tank, but when I re-filled it, did get leaking from the air holes.

So once I vaped the tank down, I wicked again, but this time I left the wick longer, put the chimney on and then lightly pushed the wick down onto the deck, and so far not had anymore leaking problems, but admit I have only refilled it once since the re-wick.

Always a bit of learning curve to a new tank, but am really liking the lemo 2, flavor is on par if not slightly better than my subtank mini's, it does drink the juice pretty fast, but that is nothing new with the tanks now a days.

Oh and really good deal getting it from vaporbeast for just over $23 shipped

As always good information, I did have a problem with leakage from air holes until I read a post suggesting placing finger over drip tip whilst filling did this and it works.
I am also into the habit of blowing though the air holes prior to mounting on device, just in case.
My biggest gripe is getting it apart, always have to use vice grips. The good thing is it hardly leaves any marks, they sure have used good material on the L2.
