I'm having the completely opposite issue. Hope you guys can help.

All of a sudden, it seems like I have too much vacuum. No bubbles coming up unless I tilt it slightly to help it along.

juice channels are open with cotton forked and just touching the deck.

I fill through the hole. Should it matter how tight the top is if using the fill hole? The vacuum isn't created until the screw is in place, right?

The vacuum isn't created until the screw is tight and you take a puff or two in my experience. It holds strong for me after that.

Your milage may vary.

So where is my problem then if the bubbles aren't coming up? Too much vacuum right? I have to loosen the top to get it to flow properly, but that worries me too.

I just thought that if the top was tightened down first, then filled, then screw placed in hole, there shouldn't be any reason for the top to matter.

I'm just confused as to what's wrong.

Too much cotton blocking the juice channels once saturated, maybe? It does tend to swell a bit.

Nah. Channels are definitely open. It's something with the vacuum. Makes no sense to me. It won't flow freely unless I loosen the top. Just not sure why that matters when it was filled through the fill hole

Here's a guess....how do you have the airflow set? Are you getting a tight draw or an open draw?

Just emptied, rewicked and refilled. Same thing happening.

Cotton trimmed to just touch the deck. Wet down and pushed back to make sure the channels are open.

Tank put together and tightened. Filled through the bottom using a syringe.

Juice will not flow freely in. I have to loosen the top cap to the point of it being pretty loose before bubbles start coming out and juice goes in. Otherwise the cotton dries out.

What the hell am I doing wrong?

Are you possibly overfilling the tank? You need to leave a bit of air in the tank. It doesn't have to be a lot of air, however if you fill the tank until the juice is coming back out the fill port you have over filled. I normally fill mine at a 45 degree angle with the fill port to the top of the tank. Once the air bubble left in the tank just starts to hit the lower part of the chimney (the fat bottom section) I stop filling. Once you tip the tank back up (after plugging the fill hole) this should leave the juice just slightly below the top cap line.

Mark I have no clue as to what could be causing your porblems with your Lemo, I have 5 of them and none have displayed what you discribe.
However I wish I could have it in my hands for a couple days and see If I could sort out for you, I know you would fall in love with it when you do get it cooking.

I'm not sure what's going on. I've had the tank for a month or so now. Just started doing this over the last week. No idea what changed.

I tried using a little more cotton again. Thinking maybe if there was more cotton to suck up juice, the more it would flow in. Didn't really work. I still find myself having to hold it tipped to the side to let the bubbles come out and juice flow in. It's getting old really fast

Thank you to those that offered up advice as to what my issue was. I think I figured it out, so I'll share with you all.

When filling up my tank tonight, I noticed that the outer rim of the top cap had a dent in it. It was not perfectly round. Not sure if it rolled off the table at some point, or maybe I dropped it. But it was off just slightly. I tried straightening it out the best I could and the tank seems to be flowing fine now.

Amazing how that little chance get can effect the vacuum so much
