Well I voiced my complete displeasure on the EM sub forum. These are worse than the last batch, there is no possible way to cover, and like I said even the few within specifications, the bridge and cup height varies. They look like some child assembled them and that not meant to be a cheap shot.

I want input from you guys. IMO the 510LRs are a complete loss. If I were to manage to sort through the rest of them (I've sorted 30 and have 4 good ones, by good I mean within tolerance and cup and bridge where it should be), I may be able to get a few of you guys attys. I would bet money they wouldn't last a week though.

I just checked a pack of 306s and they run from 1.5-1-7. At this point I will begin packaging and sorting orders that do not contain 510LRs, and focus on that part of the co op until i hear how EM plans to handle this. I just don't see them competent enough to send good replacements at this point. I let them know before I placed the order, I left them a note when I placed the order. I have been in constant communication with them throughout the process. I feel if they shipped this garbage knowing full well in advance that I would be checking them thoroughly, then they somehow thought these are good attys!!! If that is the case I wouldn't expect replacements to be any better.

Contacting everyone at EM and going to try to focus on the rest for the time being. Input welcome. Thanks, boB
 
Another question here. On the site it lists the attys as 1.5 ohms. I have several that bounce between 1.8-1.9. I think they allow for a + or - .3 tolerance, but IMO if it touches 1.9 at all it's out. I don't even like the idea of having to accept 1.8s. All around joke here. These are the "good" ones. boB

boB - I don't want to add to anymore of your stress, but I ordered HV510 atty's. Could you please check a box of mine? If the LR510's are crap, I'm wondering if the HV's are as well.

If the HV's are crap I need to know 'cause I'm on my last atty - 901 on 510 adapter. I can place an order at ValueVapor for atty's and get them within a week.

So, if they aren't good, no sense in shipping them out. I'll go along with either a refund or whatever y'all decide.

Personally, I think this will be my last order from EM - a company that knowingly ships out bad products is not the kind of company I want to do business with.

 
Klynn, good question of which I am awaiting our options. I ran off a "good" bunch just a bit a go. Missy is home and helping me. The 1st box looked like 30%, now we are looking closer to 50%. We still have the issue of these not being pressed in all the way, of which I will try to get a picture up to describe what I am talking about. Then the issue becomes, what depth is the cup supposed to sit?

Just a mess, like I said this box is testing somewhat better, but then do I take dial calipers and check the cup depth? It's that bad, VERY visible difference. Have these tested out in 1/2 hour and update with some pictures shortly after of the other issue hopefully. boB

This is sad but pretty normal in the e-cig world.I ordered 901+510 lr's from health cabin yesterday along w/a bunch of juice because I was low on juice,so I'm in no big hurry(although I did use China mail instead of EMS),so whatever u guys do is ok with me.I agree quality replacments probably aint gonna happen but it'll be interesting to see what they say.
Please do whatever is EASIEST for you. Many thanks again...and remember ECF closely monitors all it's suppliers ha ha ha!

Will they give you a refund including return shipping? You shouldn't have to be out any money.
If demands for full refund, including return shipping (in the event that's what we do) aren't honored by EM, I'll pitch in for that loss. But, we shouldn't give in easily lol (and seriously).
 
Thank you all so much for the support. Little things like stress me out the most. Package are being prepared as we speak. Waiting on ANY kind of response from EM, been tough lately. Worst case is I can cover and ship 60% of the 510LRs, juts kinda lost here so focusing on task at hand. Rest assured whatever the outcome it will be honest and fair. boB
 
Okay guys, all packages that don't contain 510 LRs will go out tomorrow, other than one, was shorted a few things:facepalm: That only affected one member (sorry RIS:().

Resistance wise probably 65% check out, that's if you use +.3 as the majority of them are 1.8 ohms. I start eliminating the ones with the high bridge/cup issue, and we are closer to 50%.

So I'm all ears here guys. I tried contacting EM several times via email the week prior to the package shipping and never heard back. I voiced my displeasure on the sub forum so maybe they will step up. I left another email earlier.

boB, I very much appreciate your efforts here. I was in on a EM co-op months ago and purchased two 5-packs of the LR510's. After reading your post on the resistance numbers you were getting I decided to measure the ten I have here. I have two digital meters, both read the same. The lowest I got was one at 1.8, seven were 1.9, One was 2.1, and the last was 4ohms. I'm just putting this info out there, whatever you decide to do is your call. I only ordered one 5-pack of the LR510's, I would take five you find at 1.9ohms. Again thank you.

Im up for shipping out items that are in, and leave LR behind...Ive got no prob putting in another 5 to reship once dust settles, or we have time to figure out a proper solution on those. My guess would be that half will work, half will not, and if im part of the half that wont, im in no rush for those anyhow. Worst case scenerio, I paid average money for cartos, and we learned something new..so Im not gonna stress the experience.

I don't think anyone is worried about you being honest and fair so don't sweat that. In fact, don't sweat it at all. There is nothing you can do if you get crap product. It's not like you made them. We will just have to wait and see what they will do. If they don't do what any honorable business (yeah, I know) would do, we will just go boycott them. Each of us start a thread in their forum saying "Picket Sign" boycott EM! LOL

I would suggest that all the LR attys need to go back. As you said, quality control appears to be an issue. So rather then send some back and then some folks who get them experience a problem after a week or 2 and then we are trying to return them piecemeal. Seems like they all need to go back.

Just my two cents boB but I think this is very sound advice. This way you are done with it and you don't have to worry about the piecemeal part. I know you still have to deal with EM and it SUCKS that the atties are bad, but I would hope everyone understands the reasoning behind it if you decide to not send any out.
