ok ok......that settles that. Windy gets the snake. :) congrats Windy!!!!!!!!

Here's a TRUE story for you......back when I was young enough and had young kids.....and could tolerate camping we were driving down a dirt road....and right there in from of our truck a red-tailed hawk swooped down and nailed a huge gopher snake. Huge meaning over 6 ft long. We jumped out of the truck and scared the hawk away and "rescued" the snake. Took him back to our camp sight where he immediately puked up the mother and an entire litter of ground squirrels.(fresh) Then promptly died. So there ya go...don't screw with Mother Nature. ....we gipped that hawk out of one hell of a meal! I still feel bad about that...LOL.

yea I hate camping to. After a lifetime of working outside in public places.....can I just say....EWWWWWWW no thanks! Pay money to regress pre-stoneage when people weren't even smart enough to clean up after themselves? ah...no.

the snake....we just wanted a free snake....LOL. Didn't count on the multiple punctured organs although common sense would have alerted us to that. But you can imagine our excitement at thinking we might get a free giant snake! We were not thinking clearly. It didn't go to waste though. Since it was freshly dead it was nice an flexible....so we kindly coiled it up and gently placed it in the neighbors bbq. I wonder if they were as excited to find it as we were?
