I'm thinking more an more bout getting one of those Kayfuns since you said you've been using ceramic in it. If you have the chance to take a pic of your setup, that would nice.

Changed flavours today so I took a few picks:

Looks like a nice little rba for ceramics...but difficult to find in the States. I'm assuming the cotton wool is what feeds the wick?

The only RBA I take out of the house with me are my DID clones. They are not finicky at all, and pretty rugged....and produce a very nice vape, but I usually just throw a CE4 Clero or a Vivi tank on a mechanical or an Ego Batt when I'm out & about.... less hassle, but I do miss the flavor that the RSSTs or AGA-Ts produce. The kayfun sounds like the best of both worlds. Might have to see if someone makes a clone to play around with :)

Just a bit of cotton tucked down the sides to feed the wick Vet. I don't know how good the clones are but the Kayfun is great. The filler valve, air control screw, everything just works perfectly. You can tune these buggers perfectly to your own taste. They were selling tonight on the Intaste site (German site) for around 140 usd shipped. My first experience with a top fed atty and I am very impressed. Has not been out of my hand since I got it. Highly recommend this one.

Thanks a lot Steve.
yes I'm going to hunt for one of those. I definitely see the potential.
The cotton wool, does it touch the coils or just the ends of the wick?

DS I just have it up to the bottom of wick so it does touch a little. It does not burn at all however and that coil is about 0.8 ohms. It is amazing really, I had to change out the cotton because of the flavor change today and the two pieces are like transparent little gel packs lol. It just works perfectly. Because of the small vapor chamber the vape is nice and warm as well which I really like. You need to really pack the cotton in tight though because it wicks so well if you don't, you will flood it.

Here is a pick on my Paps 2.1 which i brushed myself:

Ceramic recycling at its best :). It is great that you don't have to mess with the no res wire like with the Imeo stuff as well. There is also a hybrid out there called the MISTer Silca that I think would suit our purposes as well. If you like hybrids. It has good reviews as well all though it looks like it belongs in a toolbox. They do polish up nicely though.

The AIOS T/D list opened today as well and I jumped on there. Not a lot of detail on this one but made by Mojo it should be good quality. I have hopes of exploring ceramics with this as well.

I lost my mojo! lol I almost ordered a Chi U, couldn't get myself to do it. mods that I already have vs more cash involved vs redundancy buy vs air control ring?? the AIOS offers a high level of integration with the chi you. Unless you have one, there are too many unknown variables considering it is not the cheapest atty (for the understatement of the year), for me that is (caravela man). But I saw a mojo vid on YT presenting the combo, it looks the bomb, no doubt.

Can't wait for the kayfun to restock...
About that , do you happen to know the diff. between the gamma version and the brushed version?

How much liquid do these hold? I don't get it... How is this better than a Genesis rba?

a few points that would make the design interesting:
1) you don't have to open it to fill it. you don't get messy.
2) it doesn't use vertical wicking so you basically don't need the best wicking material out there.
you can pretty much use anything that can handle your coils heat.
3) the airflow is not dependent on the space around the wick hole or an open fill hole. So it potentially doesn't leak.
4) it's modular and can be configured with diff. tank capacity...

an off road atty ?

I thing the gamma is the brushed. There is a thead on here somewhere that might explain it. Cloud 9 vaping has details on the three models as well I think (if you can catch that site when it is open).

the first 2 draws are a bit longer you know, the wick heats up a bit. but then, even with your big diver's lungs, I doubt you'll be able to pull more than 3 or 4 secs lol

couldn't find the 25g but ordered 26g, also while I was at it I ordered some 27g as well. I suppose a hot wrap will be the only way to go with such a thick wire.

I only have an iphone camara.. spent all my money on vape stuffs. Here is my pic of my 28g 4 wrap on 7/32 in an aga-i. used 2 days, it is the best vape so far. kills my ss #400 hand roll, SS wire + cotton insulator wick. God i love my ceramic... But it took me an hour to get this coil n wick set up. Will it come faster in the future? Only using hot method, big thanks to all who have posted here.

so this you said is the new agi? the genny/dripper atty? thinking of getting one of these, did you say you have a 7/32 wick or did you mean to say 7/64? i was leery on the purchase because of the size of the wick hole. looking a little closer on your photo, this might not be the new one.

Yes it is the new AGI. and correct i meant the 7/64 cf wick. i could not get my 32g wire to work.. ran out. So it is 28g wire, hot wrap. Its got pluid in it now, works great. The wick hole is a little tight. I rolled the cf wick on a foot callus remover (sand paper) till it would fit, then a little more for fluid to slip past. This is the best gennie i have gotten. I have 3 aga+t's, but the AGI kills them.

very cool, thanks for the info. when looking at the specs I seen it had a 2ml wick hole and was kinda deterred but it sounds that with a little sanding you were able to fit the 7/64 size. is there any issue with the center post? I heard something about it. much better with the 28g then 32g imo, also 30g is a wire people should have also. for the most part I like the 28g on the 1/8 wicks, 28-30g on the 7/64 and 30g on the 3/32 wicks(which I still have a bunch) so I am going to try one and then after might see if its possible to drill out to 1/8, thanks again.
