Is this a good deal? AGA-T and Smoktec Rtank for $40
Sounds just a little high to me, but it's subjective. You used to be able to find both for less than $20 each...but it is difficult to find either now. Whether it is worth it or not depends on how much you want them and why. If you're going to use the AGA-T for ceramics, you will probably need to drill out the wick hole, I don't know about the R tank.Is this a good deal? AGA-T and Smoktec Rtank for $40

Sounds more reasonableGot them for $30.
Changed flavours today so I took a few picks:

Cotton wool is the same as a cotton ball (Australian English vs American English)....
I'm assuming cotton wool isn't a cotton ball, or you probably would have said that. The top picture is how you have it setup with the cotton I guess, just packed in the sides and just touching the ceramic is enough wicking? Thanks for any more info...
Customized Aga-T for ceramics, priceless!!....LOL need some bd13 dual wicks to see if I can handle it..

Can anyone confirm whether or not it possible to englarge cobra wick holes to 1/8th?
That was my exact concern. I have a Cobra en route as we speak, so I will report back with what I come up with.a while back I was thinking of purchasing a cobra and had the very same question. in the end I don't believe I was able to find someone who tried it, so I never bought one. its not the fact that physically you couldn't do it, although I would be a little difficult because of the material, but more to do with encroaching on anything around the enlarged hole.

I have heard the Cobra comes standard with either 2mm or 2.5mm wick holes - no one seems to have a definite answer. I received 6 new FC-2000 wicks today and all though I ordered 1/8th, these new channeled wicks seem noticeably smaller then my previous non-channeled FC-2000's. I don't have any old ones around to compare so I may be mistaken there, but they certainly fit into my ZAP easier then the old ones. I wonder if this was a mix up in my order, or a function of the channels -either way they seem to work great so I'm not complaining, but it has me wondering if they wont just fit into the Cobra without modification to either the wicks or the atty. I guess we shall see...
Oh I will, having been using these channeled wicks for the last few hours I think it's time to forsake ss mesh all together. If getting them in the Cobra can be done, I assure you it will be. Then I'll be back to spread the word. My cobra shipped from England this morning, so we may have a bit of a wait on our hands.

I don't mean to sound rude, but without an explanation "would not advise" is hardly a deterrent. I've come to make a lifestyle out of things people would not advise. That said I will be shrewd in contemplating just how I will go about getting these 1/8th wicks in that atomizer, and grinding the wicks may well prove a better alternative then boring out the hole.
No problem, "would not advise" was not to say "dont go for it". I have thought about it a lot. I just put it in there to clarify on the effort/risks for the choices. (theres a lot of titanium to go through.). Not as painful to have a broken wick, vs a borked $$$ atty...I have not seen a drilled out Cobra, it would be interesting to see it if you do it.
borked????
