I close my AFC ring, and hold my finger over the top of the chimney while unscrewing the fill screw / filling the tank / and reinstalling fill screw, once the fill screw is back in place, I let go of the chimney and open up the AFC.

Using this method and a good build, I get zero flooding at fill time.

Filling has still been a flooding issue but I have had better luck doing a very slow drip with a needle said:
I'll reiterate what I've seen elsewhere in this forum, and what works for me.

FIRST, close off the air control
Then remove top cap,
Remove fill screw,
Fill 'er up,
Replace fill screw,
Replace top cap
LASTLY, open the air control

Put on your PV of choice and vape away. You may get a little gurgling at first, but that burns off pretty quickly.

Note: I use a needle nosed plastic bottle for filling and I am careful to not seal the fill hole with the plastic part of the bottle cap, just the needle in the hole so that air can escape around it.

This part is key.

I'm on week 7 with the v2 Fogger from FT. I've never had a flood. I'm trying to imagine what would cause it to flood during filling. I'd say 2 possible reasons. 1. Not enough wick in the wick slots. 2. Not using a needle to fill it.
I got a couple Innokin UCans and they work well.

Don't need a needle to fill, I always just close the air control ring, unscrew the fill screw and just pore the juice in, then I close it back up, turn it upside down, open the air and I'm ready to go, no leaks, ever

So after friend lost my poor Pyrex RSST and Smok eGo at one party (over a course of mere 15-20 minutes...), I figured to try one of these RBAs for a better flavor and no potential spills nor wasteful condensation.

Looked at Aqua, Kayfun clones, and this V2 due to the similar/lowest price. Figured I'd try it since it has a clear section to see the remaining liquid and pyrex to boot, a slightly better post design that allows for different builds albeit tight workspace (Kayfun clone didn't seem all that interesting here), and a nice way to fill it. Also, the fact that it has easily adjustable airflow looked pretty appealing as well.

Read lots of positive and negative reviews, though I tend to treat the negatives as potential QC / user error rather than a faulty design since all of these tanks are more or less pretty identical and it doesn't take rocket science to make them from the same Chinese factory.

Mine should be in on Friday and I'll start playing around with builds then. Most likely gonna try a ~1.5ohm micro using 28g nichrome and ekowool to start off with. MAY try to use that SS it comes with after possibly stuffing it with cotton and some around the ends of the juice channel to prevent leaking.

+1 on the Fogger. I haven't tried a V3 yet, but the only difficulties I've had with my V2 are just due to getting the coil in there properly. Someone a while back suggested removing the screws entirely and dropping some long, blunt-tip needles in their posts. Position the coil legs around those, lower it down, remove the needles and replace with screws.

That makes the process a LOT easier for me. :)

I hear ya man. Today is NOT my day for re-wicking. First day since my kidney surgery that I felt like doing anything, and I decide, in my infinite wisdom, to re-wick all my bottom-coil RBAs.

Fogger: 30 minutes, gave up. Two Kayfun clones: 1.5 hrs, gave up. Currently working on my "easy" TaifunGT. 30 minutes in and still no joy. It's like I've just lost the ability to figure out that balance between too much and too little. Density issues.

I've done it before with almost no problems, but now it's just floods or dry hits.

ARRRGGH!!!!!

Building the coil was the easiest part for me, it's the wick I always had problems with. Flood flood flood :(

Just built fogger v1 after its been sitting for awhile. Before I threaded cotton I was at 1.7 ohms, 5 wraps of 32gauge, then after cotton and filling, my ohms keeps jumping around from 2.8 to over 3.6 ohms. I made sure all the screws were tightened. No shorts. Using a evic. All other tanks work fine (taifun gt, kayfun, kanger tanks).

Any ideas?

*Found a good way to make sure chimney is tight- if you fiddle with the top cap, whenever you put it back on, hold all of the base with one hand and twist the tank first until it gets tight, and then twist the top cap back on. Seals up top seem to help tighten the chimney back down when it gets a bit loose.

God I feel ya guys. Tried to rebuild last night to a higher ohmage to go easier on new iTaste VV and it'd been but a disaster until now. Did a clean 28g nichrome 1.3 ohms at posts (8 wraps, semi-loose I think) over ekowool and just some cotton around the channels to prevent floods. So far, seems a bit of a tighter draw, but delivers the flavor enough compared to my "1 ohm" original build that ate the juice, but definitely delivered perfectly.

Hi guys, this has probably been asked before but where can I buy the White Stretchable O-Ring for the Fogger v3 that wraps around the atty base and holds the wicks down? I have the v3 Fogger and today I went to home depot and Ace and no one had the white ones that fit around the atty base. The small black ones that they had would not stretch enough too fit around the atty base.

When I got home I re-made a coil and got the ohms to 1.7 (used 2mm EkoWool doubled over with 5 coils of 32 awg) it was working good for about 10 puffs then it started to taste burnt now all I get is dry hits or burnt tasting hits. I think I'm done with this thing. I think that o-ring that goes around the atty base over the wicks is really important? What do you think? I think I might have to sell this thing. It's extremely heavy sitting on top of my SmokTech SID. If I could buy those white o-rings somewhere I would sell this thing. I have had nothing but trouble with it. The first time I used it I could not get the tank tight and then when I thought I had it tight I went ahead and filled it with juice and when I put the metal cover on juice came pouring out of the bottom.... I just can't get it to work right plus it's so flipping heavy sitting on my mod.
