Same here, was holding out for V3, but depending on what is done to it I'll grab a V3 as well, maybe the V2 can be retrofitted!

General question, is the tank more fragile then any other tank? I know a few have broken them, guess I should grab a spare tank when I see one available.

I haven't had any issues so far, but a spare isn't a bad idea, I have seen a few places selling them pretty cheap. Big thing is not to drop it, be carefully when separating or putting it back together, and definitely don't over-tighten the top metal cap that sits over it.

Thanks appreciate it, about like any other then, I'll grab a spare when I can!

I'm not seeing much (if any?) difference between the V2 and V3. I could be missing something glaringly obvious though.....

Who knows, could even be the V2, China isn't the most reliable for photos and such, and they are probably not even made yet. Hopefully the changes will be worth the purchase.

Looks like it might have a drop wall like the Taifun.. that area looks different in the pic.

Any one know what size?

I just used a needle file and opened up the breather holes, no specific size, just kept spinning the needle file until it looked right. Much better. The draw was too tight before, even with all the insulators out of the way of the airholes.

I tried the stock ss wick yesterday with my own coil yesterday, leak city. I plan on rolling another wick today myself and giving it a try. I just did a rebuild this morning on my other fogger, 3 mm ekowool. I did a micro coil, 8 wraps of 28g kanthal, on a 1/8 drill bit which was slightly bigger than the 3mm, but I was able to tighten the coil around the ekowool for good contact. I also used the o-ring, I haven't been able to get a build not to leak without it (except cotton). It likes my vamo v5 @ 8w, no dry hits, great flavor, fogging clouds, but I get a completely different experience on my mech. the first hit or two is great, followed by dry hits.

As a side note, has anyone figured out the size of the o-ring that goes over the wicks and below the cap. These are so flimsy and I've already broken one from each atty.

Has anyone actually got one of these things working well consistently? I just ordered one and am beginning to wonder if I made a mistake. All I see are posts about leaking, dry hits and shorts.

It is a finicky device, but when you get it setup right, it works VERY well. The good news is everything you would want to know is contained within this thread.

My 1st Fogger v2, i set up same as my Kayfun Lite. Micro coil on a 1/16 drill bit, cotton wick. Filled with pluid, there was some flooding during 1st fill. I filled with the top cap off. Cleared flooding and am now on the 3rd tank. I have taken this to work with me the past week. It is solid, no leaks, air flow control works, nice TH. I have no problems with mine. I have recommended this device to coworkers & friends. :2c:

I have. I made a ss mesh wick and put the whole thing in an ekowool sleeve (XS-18 or XS-118, I've seen it labeled both ways) with just the VERY ends of the ekowool poking juuuust out of the juice channels. I made a regular 28 gauge coil, 4 wraps. I didn't use the o-ring. I prime the wick, test it, prime it again, and start reassembling the device.

When I do the initial fill, I take the whole top cap off, put the (now topless) glass tank on, fill'er up, replace the top cap with the tiny fill screw removed, then insert and tighten the fill screw. I put the final, metal part on, making sure the airflow control is open.

I always get flooding at first. I've done this three times now and the initial flooding is always there, BUT, turning the whole thing upside down for about 15 minutes gets the excess out of the chimney. And it's never very much. After that, it's trouble-free. No dry hits, no more flooding. I can take a good 10 second drag, exhale, hit it again, and still get a nice, saturated vape.

As others have said, there is a very fine line between success and failure on these things. It is frustrating at first, but stick with it and it's worth the initial hassle. Good luck!

This build is pretty idiot proof. The amount of cotton you can pull through a 1/16" microcoil is just the right amount to prevent flooding and dry hits. I still have the same coil in mine after a week and a half. On each fill, I just pull out the cotton wick, dry burn, and thread a new wick through. Without the oring, the cotton fills the stock hole perfectly, once saturated.

"This build is pretty idiot proof". My wife would agrees 101% I have a few Foggers (v2) I have 1 set up and 2 sitting in box's waiting to get built. But since i have a few Kayfun Lites (3), 2 Status 22's (gennies) and now a few foggers.... Drippers are in here also, not much time or desire to set my xtra's up. I am not counting the 6 Terminator-c's, 4 agi's, 3 aga's... I now carry 1 Fogger, 1 Kayfun lite & 1 stratus 22 with me daily. I am an att field tech, so the devices have been field tested.
I guess i should have a small vape sale, Term's dont get much use.. Any one in the OC need some help setting any of the above gear up, PM me.

How do you like the KFL? I've been debating pulling the trigger on one those for awhile, but it would have to be a pretty awesome vape for $110

Well, that is a good question... As i sit thinking, i could rock 3 Foggers or 1 KFL. I love my KFL's, very simple to set up. Multitude of choices in coil and wick, same as Fogger. If you dont have a KFL, you should get one. The Fogger is in the same class as the KFL, both non leaking & work perfect once set up correctly. I do like the Foggers air flow control. The KFL has non, but machining is awesome & performance solid. I use micro coils + cotton. So to recoil & wick = pennies. Gennies running ceramic, no so cheap.
