Tyrants (politicians) will look for anything to demonize so they can pass legislation against it and claim a big win. It's nothing more then supporting their own tyrannical career and those who put up the money to get them there. I can not think of one tyrant these days that actually considers the good of the people they are supposed to serve. Sure words will get twisted to make it sound good for the general public, but it was never meant to be done for us. It is done for a select few people who stand to make something off of it, be that more money, or more power.

In many ways the fault is that of the American people and the bought and paid for media as well. Towing the party line, completely divided and can't settle on anything as a nation because it is all me, me, me. The government passes laws we must follow, but the people are supposed to be the ones who govern the government. We have traded our rights and freedom for a thin veil of protection so we can "live the American dream" that is being taken away from us a little more each day. The people do nothing and the government runs wild, they have begun to govern themselves, in essence, giving them absolute power. We all know how that saying goes. Tyrants no longer have to fear the American population.

We live in a time when those elected to serve us have became our masters. These people really must have the best job in the world. We select them to work for us, pay their salary, then they get to tell us what to do.

Best post I've ever seen in my entire life.
I think you've pretty much nailed it.

The thing is, this is how it has always been since the caveman days.
Greed is what rules the world, not morals or truth, or anything else that the common man cares about.

I suppose the question is what can we really do about it.
And the answer, it seems, is revolution with a high involvement of guns.

But even that is only a temporary solution, as history has shown.

This news channel had an interview with an RJ Reynolds Vapor Co. representative this a.m. They were introducing the Vuse e-cig and claiming that it was the only e-cig with a micro processor for a perfect puff every time. They also claim that it is the only e-cig that is 100% American made.

Any input?

It's a wordplay to sound like he means something that he can't actually say. It isn't the only e cigarette with a micro processor. It is the only micro processor designed for a perfect puff. The word perfect is subjective so he's stating an opinion. In his opinion it is better... He is a salesmen.

Phone companies do the same thing. Every single one of the claims to have the best network. Best is a matter of an opinion and therefore they are staying an opinion...

I talked to an internet company who claimed they had the fastest internet in the USA at a whopping 50 Mbps. Being that it's fiber optic and fiber optic is the fastest then their is the fastest. However, they will throttle your .... down to snail speed because they don't actually have the infrastructure to deliver at capacity.

Same thing.

This is 2013, guys. The whole left/right, liberal/conservative, republican/democrat paradigm, is outdated. Both parties have been bought out, and paid for by the few elite at the top , running everything. The international banksters, the rotchshilds, the rockefellers, bilderberg, etc etc are the ones pulling the puppet strings.

One side pretends they are protecting big business (republicans), while the other side claims they are protecting the people, and focus on big government(democrat). The truth is, they really only disagree on the most basic, superficial issues.....but when it comes to foreign policy, abolishing the IRS/Federal reserve, and actually protecting the citizens of the US.....both parties fail.

The same wealthy families, and the same mega-corporations and international institutions finance BOTH parties equally. They put a democrat in for 4-8 years, then switch it up, and throw in a republican. back and forth, back and forth.

If you honestly think FOX is better than CNN, etc, you haven't done much research. They are two sides of the same coin.

This is why I refer to the media as "Propaganda Mercenaries". There is not a shred of Journalistic integrity left. None of them give a rats behind about truth and facts.

However, a smart person CAN listen to both sides and learn to read between the lines and glean the truth, or as close to the truth as what can be known. It becomes almost like learning to understand more of what was NOT said that what was said.

I agree but it has become more then that. The lies and manipulation spewing out of Washington everyday now has reached the point the average person can no longer avoid it. The reason nothing is done about the average man is because we are generally simple folks who want to live our lives and when it's all said and done, be happy with not only what we have done for ourselves, but others as well. However, if tyrants do not fear us, they have no reason to hide. How many things in this world do people not do because it is illegal? A lot of what the modern government is doing is illegal and unjust to the American people, but they are not punished. When was the last time a politician was voted out of office? The average man needs to get of his biblical donkey reference and do something about it.

Yes that may mean guns, but war should always be the last option. Especially one fought in the homes of our children. Those who founded this country gave us the power to do something about this, because for them it did come to war and it may well again if nothing is done soon. The average man needs to take back the government that was founded to protect the rights of everyone. Not just those with money and power. Any sense of freedom we have left in our daily lives has become nothing more then an illusion. Don't use greed as a crutch or excuse, use it as a battle cry!

I can only believe they will find a way to make their product unusable after the first carto runs out. Who uses cartos anymore? They may have politicians , the fda, and the media in their pockets but I think technology in China will win out. In today's society the name of the game is disposable, the problem is it is unsustainable in so many ways.

ah you understand too...woe to anyone who develops their political opinions based on the manipulative trash they spew on either of those entertainment channels. Its a bunch of propaganda financed by the wealthy to misdirect us from the ones actually oppressing us. I agree, the political parties don't really even exist, they're like some stupid football team were supposed to root for.

Its all a big scam. What a sad, sorry joke our government has become with these two parties choosing candidates. How have we let it come to this?

One thing is for sure. It is our fault.

Some, if not most of the vendors would be out of business in six weeks if it weren't for their access to the internet community. In most areas of the U.S. I'd bet the vaping community is small. I run into zero vapers on any given day. I did have one lady walk up to me a week ago and ask me how I liked my Provari. I was shocked! She told me that she and her husband both quit smoking while vaping and didn't see anyone vaping in public until she saw me.

I gave her a Stormy's Vapor Cellar business card and the link to ECF. Stormy's is across town from me (and her and her husband). Maybe BT will create a larger community of vapers. Unless BT buys the worldwide patents instead of paying royalties, they won't corner the market at the prices they will charge.

They don't need patents to corner the market. Hardware is already for all practical intents and purposes public domain. Look at how everything is already copied and recopied in this business. Even then they are not in this to sell hardware. They want to be the sole nicotine suppliers. All they have to do is get juice categorized as a tobacco product and internet sales in the US get auto-banned since you cannot sale tobacco products online. As you pointed out in your first paragraph, without internet sales nearly all US based companies would be out of business. Check mate...the market is now cornered. Yes we are literally one move from them having total domination over our nic juice. This one move has to be blocked at all costs. So anytime you see or hear someone trying to lump vaping in with smoking we have to fight it.

This is why they want to repeal the 2nd Amendment. They want to make sure this can never happen.

Ecig juice was declared a tobacco product in 2011 by the FDA. You may be referring to the current California debacle.

Sorry I meant REGULATED instead of CATEGORIZED. It is illegal to sale tobacco products over the internet in the US. If they can get nic juice to be regulated the same way, then all taxes and sales restrictions will apply.

And yet regularly on this site I see people say, "I think we need the FDA to regulate to keep the juice safe because I don't know what is in it" They add some line next that will go like, "But only safe and reasonable regulations". Sure, they just want to protect us!

The FDA is incapable of protecting anyone but BP and/or itself. They will be unlikely to prevent internet sales. Even if they did, the black market would be a nightmare to stop. Don't fret too much about this happening. The FDA is too late to stop vaping in the United States.

This is why after I first started vaping I quickly learned to make my own juice. That was followed by purchasing 3 liters of 48mg nic liquid from rtsvapes, a nice collection of the flavorings from TFA. PG and VG I can get from Amazon or my local Tractor Supply. Making the simple fruit flavors I like (banana, blueberry, juicy fruit, strawberry) - or combo's thereof are pretty easy. I stored all three liters in my freezer...kept one smaller 250 ml one out to use from time to time. When I get a little tired of my flavors...I'll order from MBV or Roar and new flavor...then try and copy it. with 3 liters or 3000 ml...that should last me a good three years or longer if I reduce the nic level. At any rate its more than enough time to quit altogether. All I know is RJR and the rest can kiss my lily white azz if they ever think I'll spend another dime on whatever they are shilling.

And for the person who called Fox News...Faux News. Go back to Huffington or Democratic Underground. They seem to be missing an idiot. They aren't the end all be all...but their ratings speak volumes. An intelligent person gathers all the information, sifts through it, combines it, and sees through the one sided bullsheit. I'll pit the thought process of a Hannity or Oreilly or Kelley over Matthews or Maddow or, <holding back fits of laugher> Al "I barely have a coherent thought" Sharpton... any day, any time.

That being said they all lean their own way...but between them, the internet, magazines and my own eyes. I can determine the truth far better than just listening to one source.

Oh and Republicans suck just as much as Democrats. Both parties are only interested in furthering their power grab. You can see it everytime a new senator or congress critter is elected. They start out thinking they can make a change...until they hit DC and learn you can't get reelected without your parties money, or can't make a committee unless you tow the line. Voting is like the movie The Matrix. You are given the illusion of control to balance the equation.
