I found the Ubertoot far superior to the gem, especially with the shorter tanks on.

The deck of the gem is just too small and inflexible for me. I have the same problem with the Squape RS decks but at least they're interchangeable and the B deck makes it my favourite flavour atty.

Yeah. Haha. Have one of them coming as well but for some reason didn't ship at same time. I'll give the B deck the first go.
Die hard kayfun fan...but it was time to test some other M2L addys.

Received Gem clone this evening via Gearbest. Cleaned twice with dish soap + brush + soap soak but still has machine oil coming through.
Going to let it soak in alcy overnight without o rings. orings in soap.
Experiencing same short pin as mentioned.
Also...has anyone experienced issue with that oring inside the chimney? Despite putting some juice on it prior to installing the deck it's had a lot of resistance and I already see it starting to tear. Anyone know its size? Bummer on no spares.
Do not really understand the design of the top fill orings not being secured in any way. They will be lost soon. Does it leak without them? Ideally they would have an internal insert inside top cap similar to how the KFL+ v2 top oring that seals the chimney and cannot move.
Hope to get flav going on this...the small size and juice capacity is impressive.
Side note same order came the Ubertoot clone which is vaping very nicely.

I ordered some spare fill screw orings for my Kayfun lites a while back and they look to be the same size as the fIll hole orings on the GEM. I've got about 30 spares cause I crushed a few on the kayfuns and I know I'm going to lose some on the GEM. Here's where I bought them from.

I followed Qorax's build video this morning and put a 6 wrap 28g 2.5mm coil in the Gem, 1.1 Ohms at 13.5W is a really nice vape. I kept the coil down low in it's channel, pulled Rayon through and cut it off flush with the sides. The top was a little bushy so I cut it back on an angle and tucked the bottom part in the juice channel. Juiced, filled and working perfectly.

The flavor from the GEM seems to be much better at a lower wattage with the juice I have in it now. I also fixed my negative deck screw slipping by putting a piece of 0.5mm x 0.1mm Ribbon Kanthal in the hole and screwing the screw back in. A piece of 0.8mm would have been better but i don't have any of that size.

Night time acly soak did the trick. Very tasty!
Played around with spares to resolve 510 pin issue. Here's what came up with...
Protank coil seal + 2 tiny orings from a broken aqua clone. At first I just put the one oring but it still had some leaking in 510. 2 of them appears to have fixed leaking. I vape the thin stuff... 70pg/30vg 12mg.
Pin screwed in pretty far and snug. Only thing with fix is to remove the 510 base the pin will unscrew with it...no biggie.
Thanks for tips and suggestions on this guy!

Well i got to mess with mine last night. I cut down the pin i had used for the squape and it was nice and tight, but i kept getting OP on my mod. I put the one that came with it back in and although it is loose it worked. I was able to build it and fire it and it is working just fine. I have no idea why my other pin kept giving me OP. As time goes i will probably mess with it some more, but for now it is working and i like it. Not fond of the fire ring, but i do like the size of the tank. I dont think this will be used daily though as it is just a little too much to mess with.

I really don't like the Gem with Kanthal builds, went back to a 26g 316L .6 ohm build in it, back to how I like it. With the 316L build in it I can get most of the day out of a single 18350, capacity, no leaks makes it a fine little pocket device.

I Still prefer my UTA 2 for single coils, but find this to be a quite decent atomizer. You guys that find this too fiddly to build, make sure you don't buy an Aqua FX!

Nice little rig!

As soon as I saw that "Wrap me with Cotton" coil barrel, I knew the Aqua FX was not for me.

yea, I know, but I enjoy a challenge, and this thing should fit that description well, I pretty much knew what to expect, but I kinda like the oddness of it.

It is built nicely, and very clean, rinsed it out, filled it with some 100VG stuff I made up, within 5 minutes the tank ran out the air holes with the build it shipped with.

Kinda like the drip tip anyhow, though it could lose the colored o-rings

I did get this little guy which I really like so it was not a complete loss.

I got mine yesterday and replaced the 510 with one that I had for a Kayfun V4. Works well with this. Tank is a real pain to get set up correctly but once it was, it works well without any leaking. I have it set up as a 1.2ohm kanthal build and am running it on an evic mini at 14.5watts. Has a really good flavor. Only issue that I have now is refilling it. I turn off the afc and tip it over once it is filled. Get a lot of juice out of the chimney when I do that. Once I start vaping it, I also get more juice until I get the vacuum established. After that it works well until next refill. Has anyone figured out how to refill this without any leaking??

I'd guess the 80PG is the biggest contributing factor, I'm on the other end of the spectrum, 80PG tears up my throat. Though you should be able to compensate with a little denser shoulders.

Would also add you may benefit from keeping your coil a little higher also, if the wick lays tight against the juice channels all the way to the coil, it may cause your juice to flow right down into the deck.

That and a little extra cotton, nice puffy shoulders, should slow it down enough to fill, and still maintain good flow.

Fffffff lost an o-ring.
Can someone confirm that these are the correct size? Or if there's a good place to get o-rings that stocks other build materials? I need to pick up some rayon and other stuff anyway.

The top fill holes are 3mm x 1mm

Are those the ones you are talking about?
