This is the information I copied to my notes from the Gem authentic thread:

GEM O-ring Sizes (OD x Thickness)
1) Drip Tip: ................... 6mm x 1mm
2) Center Topcap Hole: ... 6mm x 1mm
3) Fill Holes: ................. 3mm x 1mm
4) AFC Ring: ................. A small piece from a 1.5mm thick O-ring

Here is the list of the larger O rings that the Gem uses:
Interior diameter x thickness
-8mm x 1mm Bottm of the deck
-13mm x 1mm Seals de deck
-15mm x 1mm tank

I'm using 3X1 and they fit perfectly, but if 2X1 also fits, hey why not. :D

Mine has not leaked a drop, and I take my time filling it usually from a glass dropper. Don't bother closing AFC, or any upside stuff either, since no one has really mentioned leaks during fill I assume it has not been an issue
I had to make my wick thicker so that it would block up the juice hole. Now mine does not leak when I refill either.

Finally Gearbest sent me a new GEM as replacement. Differences with the previous one are:
1- 510 pin is taller. Previous one was short.
2- Build deck ring is taller with more threads. Seems too tall but now I can install and test my coil .In the previous one the build deck moved and the coil couldn't fire to be tested.
3- It's vey easy to insert the deck into chimney. I had to force the previous one.
4- 22mm beauty ring is usable. Previous one had threading issues.
5- the top chimney ring still not there, but no problem- leaking- yet.

Although still no top chimney ring and the build deck ring is tall but it is usable. It took me total of 2 months to have the first and then the second. Finished my first tank with some NET at 1.3 ohms/2.5mm/28 g kanthal with rayon. So far flavorwise is very good and no problem. In terms of flavor it is not on par with Attaman V2 in my opinion, but it is really good. Probably I have to play with it to get a better flavor.

Attaman II is a bit to restricted on the Airflow for me, good flavor, but to restricted, for my usage I definitely get better results with the Gem then the Attaman, and the Tilemahos, which is another I find a bit to restricted in Airflow.
Actually I use the 2nd airflow on Attaman V2, though happy with the tightest. The widest one is too much airflow for me.Just watched a video about Tilemahos on youtube. It seems GG made a flavor chaser version called v2 plus. If any of the new versions of Sophia, Spheroid or Tilemahos V2+ becomes available as clone I will sure buy.

I don't think I can bring myself to buy another gem clone, but when I hear @ccwaters say "so&so" atty is too restrictive, makes me wonder how restrictive "so&so" must be? I feel my gem is crazy tight (restrictive). I've had it apart and don't have a clue how to make the air flow any better besides what I've already done. :(

Goodness. I am vaping GEM with barely half airflow. Good news is, there is something in the market for different preferences.:)

The two tightest airflow Tanks I own are the Prometey II, and the Ataman II, Ataman wide open is about 2x the Prom, but still substantially less then a Kayfun 3.1, TileMahos is relatively close to the Gem, but just a bit less. My dislike for the Tile isn't just the amount of airflow, but the feel of it, and no matter the build, for some reason it just seems a bit anemic, I like the setup of it, but If I want that type of set up The KS Holyland kills the Tile.

The Gem is an interesting little guy for me, part Of what I like about it is the efficiency, and when I tap the fire button it is like a little explosion of flavor, almost a forceful ejection of vapor from the chamber! To be fair I really should try some other builds in it, but the 26g 316L @.5 ohms just works so nicely.

Phone Guy, if you ever tire of mucking with the Gem you have I'd be really interested to see if its really that different then mine? Not sure how it could be, other then your build, Maybe I have a double of something you'd like to try and we could work something out.

So much of this is all just individual perception, I have a pretty short list of authentics I want to pick up, Gem is on that list, but even the ones listed in the classies are a bit more then I care to pay. Eventually I guess.....

So nobody else got the B version off Fasttech?

Well I got mine. Stay the hell away from it. The build deck is entirelly wrong and different from the A version/authentic. The wick channels/coil area are MINISCULE. I haven't personally seen an authentic or the A version in person, but I can definitely tell that this is much smaller. Its unusable. You cannot conceivably fit a usable coil inside the coil area, and the wick channels are so tiny and thin that you wouldn't get very good wicking.

I'll try to share a picture later tonight. But I would avoid it. I'm not even going to bother with it, theres no way I could fit any kind of coil I want inside. And I'm a low wattage M2L vaper that uses 28g kanthal/30g Ni200. So its not like I demand massive coils.

Finally managed to build with 26g ss 316L it came out 0.39 ohms and i think i am getting better flavor from kanthal, might be my imagination though. As for the 510 pin i still have problems with it when i use the gem on mods with screw head pins on the 510 connector instead of a flat one on my mods, so i have no atomizer problems on my ipv3 li but everything work fine on my asolo ijoy.

Really digging the Gem, nailing the build every time, wicking great with 80 VG, and insane flavor.
