Yeah,its fun but before taking the plunge,imagine how long your APV will be with one of those beast on...I own Scubagens but man,the lenght sometimes is a bit annoying...a rta is just about right (about 2'' minus the drip tip),so if this one is the same,all is good.

I was under the impression one could make a mesh wick to work just as well as "regular" wicks
Also. For you guys that have the viva nova. I found that after rebuilding it with a new wick and coil it work great. Make sure the coil is not to tight on the wick. Also go 2.3 ohms with 4 raps with wire. Also I put in a 400 x 400 as mesh wick rather then the silica wick.
I contacted one of the vendors a while back to find out the size of this tank and they replied "the lenth is 44.46 MM and diameter is 20 mm" thats only about 1 3/4" x 3/4", about the same size as a 5ml DCTank.
I never have any problems with mine and its on a fullsize ss lavatube
I really want to try this. Have you ever made a cotton wick for it? Would like to know if the mesh wick is better than the cotton before I go to the trouble.
The new mesh wick works great, but make sure u make it really thin. I made it as thin as a paper clip. Also look on YouTube.search for starburst with mesh wick. There are some great examples and easy to do if you ever rebuilt you vivid nova yet.

Well not too surprising as every other low cost trinket didn't work well either out of the box with the exception of DC tanks and CE3 clearomizers . I have come to expect these little challanges.

I did wrap a stainless mesh wick and ran through a tank. Just need to modify the fill process which I have shelved for the moment.
One with the wick, with the coil, then while firing. Hope it helps!
