There I go with some brief first impressions from the Genisis LV, the package from Germany jumped to Bulgaria for 3-4 days :D Bare in mind that this is just my second ati from this type so those are the impressions of a novice in this area.

Got my package:

Stuff from package, the white sheets contain the nicely packed mesh:

Genisis LV in parts:

It looks good, shiny, threaded parts fit well. Mine was ready assembled but there were some things I had to do before setting it up, aside from some cleaning. To those who are not sure what they are doing (like me), read the manual, take note of the assembling and examine your ati. Here's what I did:
- The pair of smaller holes it the middle part: one was not open, I opened it but I made it smaller than the other - I tested the air draw and decided I like it like that. I may open it full size later.
- The center hole in the middle part: the hole in the bottle cap must match it, mine was obstructed from some plastic leftovers from the screwing, I cleaned them till I got a nice round hole.
- While doing the above, the bottle cap came out, it was glued cause I saw the glue inside but it obviously didn't hold. I cleaned the glue and set back the cap without gluing. The bores inside the middle part of the ati body hold it tight, I am able to screw and unscrew the bottle without any problems.
- Bottom part - I found some glue on it that needed removing (as the arrows on the picture). The one inside the teflon tube was pain in the ..... I really didn't like that. Also, the teflon tube is fitted so that it's a bit flattened - it prevented my nice rounded wick to enter, so I had to squeeze it to match the hole.

And there it goes, the first setup. I used kanthal 0.2 mm, my coil is 2.2 Ohm (I like coils around 2-2.5), wick got a bit twisted while I was trying to fit it in that non round teflon hole but then it goes straight up, no problems screwing the middle part on - it goes straight in the hole for the bottle.

I filled the bottle just a lil, vaped for a while, no problems, repeated 3 times. Then I filled it full, I begun getting leaks. Squeezing the mesh as in manual tips helped some but it still floods. This is just the first setup though and I will keep playing with the Genisis :D

Other things - taste is wonderful, vapor is cool, the cooler I had till now, but that is not a minus ;)

Thanks, Uwe and team.

Just screw the bottle in and than turn a half turn back. If you get leaks into the bottom part it can have two reasons:

- the mesh roll has less than 2,3 mm. In that case to much liquid is going down the mesh. If it is still to much just bend the mesh as shown in the instruction.

- the bottle cap is loose. Some liquids are very agressive and kill the glue. Than liquid will run through the air holes.
Just take the cap out, clean it and glue it in again. clear the air holes with a 1,5mm drill and the mesh hole with a 2,3 mm drill.

Ok, I am still waiting on my shipment, but I got one from Alexp. He also hooked me up with kanthal and his wife is an expert mesh roller...Just saying. Here is what I noticed:

I first filled the bottle a little bit and set it aside as I prepared the mesh. I had to look up the procedures on here because this is my first Genisis. I did the oxidation on the gas stove and quenched it in the sink... lather, rinse, repeat X3. Then I put a few drops of juice on the wick and put that in the flame till it caughtfire...quenched it. I did that twice, then on to the coil.

Now this has proven to be the tricky. part. The first one that did was 4 wraps. I measured it at the connector and it came out to 1.6 Ohms. Ok, put it all together and fired it up and the flavor was weird. Not because there was anything wrong, per se, but because that is what my juice actually tastes like. I used my all day juice and now that I know what it actually tastes like, I am not sure how I feel about myself. HA

I wasn't getting as much vapor as I though I should be, So being the incessant tinkerer that I am, I took it back apart to look at it more closely. One of the wraps wasn't making good contact with the mesh and tried to fix it and got frustrated and just redid it completely. The 2nd - 4th attempts were odd because I was getting some glowing as the kanthal left the mesh for the screw post. I popped 3 coils like that. I determined that I needed to pull the wick closer to the screw posts in order to lessen the glowing of the kanthal thereby reducing the chance that I would blow a coil.

Finally I put a 3 wrap coil on there for a .9ohm at the connector and have been happily vaping since.

The only thing that I actually have a problem with, I think is the 510 connector. The connector seems a bit wonky. It doesn't thread into any of my PVs straight. The closest it threads is an Ego passthrough that gave up the ghost last night when I was working out a short on the coil. Now, it fires all the time even without the button pushed. no light on the button, but constant firing. I don't know if it was a result of fiddling with the GLV while on the device, or if the device had just reached the end of it's life on its own.

I tried it on my roughstack as well and it doesn't work. I use a shorty extension to get the tank above the top button and no joy. I checked that the device was working, even with the adapter and it is, but it will not fire the GLV. I find this odd because the Roughstack uses an 18650. The Ego, 1000Mah worked fine, but the Roughstack won't? Horsefeathers....I haven't given up on that yet.

I might have to lessen the strength of my juice as well. I remember someone posting on here that the Genisis makes their juice seem more potent. I got a little nic'd up last night testing and playing. It was glorious. We will have to see about that.

Overall, I love this thing. Well made, shiny and works great. Thanks Uwe and team.

There's my 2 cents.

Now come on Uwe who reads instructions? Just kidding:p
My mishap happend with the second fill. I just need a few trys until I get it right sometimes. Was a bit over excited hihi.

After going with the instructions I have a great vape expierience now. There must be a real bummer coming for me to put the Genisis aside.
