Now I'm gonna have to find something else to wear for my Faces of Volt pic.
I know exactly what you are talking about. I started out with 4 autos and both PCC's, a 1300 and a 650 manual X2. Not to mention the cartos and clearos I bought. They all played a part in a great setup that got me off of the cigs.
Huge props to Smokeless Image with the best beginner's hardware on the market.
After a just three weeks with that setup, and certain that cigs were no longer a part of my future and that vaping was, I started looking into longer battery life and larger juice carriers -- mods. I'm no longer self-conscious about vaping a larger device out in public. Last weekend I openly vaped my X2/clearo combos at our city's Taste of Cincinnati festival and barely got a glance by onlookers, even though I've never seen anyone else vape anywhere in public. No one cares, which is a good thing.
This week I got my new mods: a BB (see my sig) and a silver bullet. With these these two mods I can get 2-3 days battery time each without charging. I've been using my old Volt clearos (with a 510-808 adaptor) on them along with a few 4 ml mega cartos. Soon I'll be ordering a few polypropylene tanks to put my favorite juices in and I'll be pretty well set for the next few months. (yeah right, that's what she said)
I still have my original Volt setups available as backups, and of course they are available for loaning out to friends who may want to try vaping. Not everyone moves on to using mods. Many people are perfectly happy with the smaller batteries for years I would guess, but for me the convenience of not having to change batteries every few hours and add liquids every couple day is a huge plus to me. The money I have invested in new hardware is justified by the money I saved from not buying the smoke sticks.

Just got my Volt X2 about 2 weeks ago.... Love it.... looking forward to some of the new X2 colors!!

It sure is, and my favorite hat at that! Most people dont know the brand.
I have had people offer to buy it from me several times...
I've had mine for about two years. I was even featured in one of their press-releases. Got to know their marketing guy, Frank pretty well. The stitching on the brim just started tearing loose. Rather than send it back, I'm just going to stitch it with some heavy waxed cotton thread.
But, back on topic. My Volt just came today. Lovin' it!
This is my adventurin', BBQ'in, and now Vapin' hat.
