Thanks, I will order a few from a couple places. They're only a couple bucks. I was going to order my normal monthly supplies of juice so it's great.
try goodprohets, thats where I got mine but it was a long time ago. cant beat 99cents tho unless they are not on sale anymore the they are 1.99

on Goodprophets' adapters. I wouldn't use theirs if they paid me. I've had 3 fail (gaskets) causing shorts. If other folks have had success with them; congrats. I like my GGTS and the soon to use Iatty too much to risk them on cheap adapters with thin gaskets. I'm sticking with a one piece w/o the extra gaskets; but that's just my preference and lack of faith in adapters in general.

para, your design is very good. But if we want to earn those 12mm in length you can use exactly what you use but with 901 connection and a little shorter. Do you think there is something like that?

Imeo, I'm confused by the 12mm in length

The total length of the adapter(s) so the top of the 510 is flush with the end cap is approx. 19.8mm. I'm not advocating any particular adapter setup...everyone use what works for them. My point is spend a fw bucks and get adapters that have good gaskets (insulators). I'm sure Bruce sells them and Wordup is a good source.

If you see my video about length, you will see that if we use the rethreater then the center pin of GGTS goes inside its plastic so we earn 8mm from there. Also the set up I recomend doesnt need the lid of the GGTS so we earn 4 more mm Para:)

Thanks Imeo...now I understand.

Thanks for the heads up, I have been using the GP ones for a long time BUT..... I do not use adapters a lot or for any extended amount of time so I can not comment on quality but from your experience I will stop suggesting GP adapters. Do you have an alternate place to buy quality adapters?

edit; shouldve read through the rest of the thread before posting, I know see you suggested COV or Wordupecigs. Have you ever bought madvapes adapters, if so, what do you think of em?

Can't say about Madvapes, but I know that Wordup carries good quality. I've used them to make feeder adapters for REO's; modded them for volt meters, and used them in PV's I've made....never had a single issue. But, that's just my experience....other folks may have different luck

Adapters

Every time you use any adapter the insulator/gasket gets compressed. If it's thin it's easier for them to split. I'd rather spend 4 bucks at WU and have more confidence in their performance.

seems that they are not offering 901-510 unfortunately.
can you recommend another vendor deserving of confidence?

They must be out of stock....thats the only site I've ordered adapters from in a while. You might try Bruce at COV and see if he carries them. I won't be using dual adapters for my Iatty; but maybe someone who is and has ordered from a vendor can recommend their source.
