Maybe the charger isnt the best but its not totally useless. You must be lucky sometimes. I havent made a search for charger, it was the last thing that concerns me. But Tribal made a search for us.

Try it Tribal and please tell us the results. I dont like to have stupid charging problems:)

I'll let ya all know how I get on with it when it arrives, its quite promising, I think Frog has one and he said it was great!! :thumb:

Ohh and do you like my avatar!?!?

Wegster, I will still keep looking for the one you recommended, I dont really want to send to USA.

However, as Im a numpty who just doesnt understand anyway, maybe £6.99 is enough to throw away....hahahaha..

At least Im showing willing at giving this a go...lol

But thats all it is...hahahaha

Its worth a shot, my friend has a really old huge digital multimeter, it has all the twiddly knobs the £6 ones do and he said it was cheap!! Its over 10 years old! If it doesn't last 10 years its only £6 lost!

Nice avatar tribal!

This is the charger Tribal is talking about
DealExtreme: $11.54 UltraFire 3.0V/3.6V CR123A Charger

The Ultrafire charger requires spacers to fit the CR2 cells, I use 6 of these on the + end
DealExtreme: $2.36 Super-Strong Rare-Earth RE Magnets (8mm 20-Pack)

It charges at 250ma, its very well made and has the handy kettle-style lead socket like other e-cig chargers. If you dont like fiddling with magnetic spacers, its not for you but I hear Ultrafire are about to relese a special adapter for it.

The batteries charge fast but do come out warm, I find they run warm in the GG too.

hee hee... yes I won the GG... thats what I did right...lol

I ordered that charger ages ago for hubby to use with his SD batteries, but the light goes green after an hour and the batteries dont last more than 30 mins after using it...so he went back to the original charger, which is slooooowwwww.

So I will give this one a try.

So can I use Fridge Magnets instead of the spacers then???

I gave a link earlier to a reasonably priced one, this is the lowest priced one I'd buy on amazon UK, that I've at least googled a few comments on the 'draper' brand from people who *do* use 'real tools' and haven't discarded it as utter crap..
