No weekend for me ;-(

Ah, the joys of being self-employed...

Already built, wicked, and vaped a full Lemo Drop tank... the flavor DOES seem to be a bit more concentrated than in the full-size Lemo. I'll admit to being a bit bummed... they said it was a Lemo rta and I was kinda hoping it was the II... but, a win is a win and don't look a gift horse in the mouth, et cetera, et cetera et cetera...

Think I might have to go watch that movie agaib, and extra points if you can name the movie from what I've written...

I also have quite a few Mexican Plum trees. They're not very big but they have bloomed every year since I've been here. The flowers are beautiful, and the smell is heavenly - very similar to honeysuckle scent. This year was the first time they actually produced fruit though - I think they haven't gotten enough rain until this year.

With all the hooplah over my missing package and the size of the surf, I also forgot to mention the hammerhead sharks that have been spotted locally. In fact, yesterday, someone was apparently bitten by a hammerhead near Malibu (100+ miles north of here). Good times!

Missed everyone yesterday. Had water coming from the ceiling of my first floor. Had to replumb the bathtub in kids bathroom. Big fun!

For my win, I went with Pinoy Punch, chocolate Tiramisu and Butterscotch. I was going to try the Banyan Tree but don't really do tobacco flavors anymore.
What are your thoughts on my choices?

okay, so breakfast is over and dishes are done... and I hurt. Darn it I wish I was normal. I hate this.. I want to be able to do all the things I used to do. I am laying down because trying to do dishes makes tears run down my face when I am not even crying.

I just wanna be like everyone else. I don't want anyone to come into my home and have to lift a finger, I want this place to be a place of home, and comfort... and I don't want to end up in the emergency room just because of it.

Why is it that outdoor chores that start out all therapeutic and supposedly fun turn into a nightmarish goat jump? {sigh} Went to weed the front plant/flower bed. OY, there's something that has taken over like the Borg (resistance is futile - you cannot eradicate us!)

It's not excessively hot, but it's MUGGY - bent to pull the first weed and started pouring with sweat {blech}

Back in to cool off - still gotta cut some grass and stack some wood for tonight's festivities....

Hello Treefam! Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday! Today is my twin's 21st birthday! Who the heck gave them permission to get older?!

Count, that really bites about your mail. I had that happen a few months ago...turned out my idiot, lazy mailperson (you know, the one who refuses to come to my door when there's a package that requires signature ) had just scanned it as delivered and hadn't even made their run yet...it ended up getting delivered the next day...USPS seems to be actively going out of their way to hire idiots these days!

@jpbavaro - What adorable babies! They are just so cute! ...That right there is the best substance!

@Opinionated - Sending healing vibes for you...hope some rest will help.

Not to worry...lots of parents here to offer a shoulder . My Mom spent about 3 months with each of my bros first borns ...niece had a horrible case of Cradle Cap...Grandma brought a sense of calm and sanity..and she knew just what to do

Hahaha. Usually Ava is in the forefront. She's always lying on Erick and trying to steal his cuddles.

Welp, I've been up since 10 and am just now crawling out of bed at 1:30. My back has been hurting something fierce the past 4 days or so. Nothing seems to help. Dang Toby (my old horse, threw me and screwed my back up). Usually I'm fine. Sometimes I guess I just sleep wrong and tweak it or something. It shall pass. So, for now, I'ma get me a bowl of coco roos, and hop my happy .... in the shower while the babies are snoozin.

After the 16 hour road trip, I took the next day off. I thought I posted once, but never could find it. The trip was a success - the brooms were delivered - and we'll know on Tuesday the results of the judging. I predict Stepdot will take first, a friend of mine name of Gerald (Jerry) will take second. I think I'll take third... I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

Still keeping everyone updated on my ongoing struggle to NOT purchase things

Tonight,I won two Cloud Comps - the mech and the regulated - but I turned the mech win over to the runner ups. It was only a 30 ml bottle of e-liquid, and the owner/sponsor agreed to provide 2 x 15 ml for them. The Regulated contest win was an Eleaf Lemo Drop in Stainless. Yay! Another tank added to the mix that I did NOT purchase.

Now, we're still waiting on the SMOK XCube II/SMOK TFV4 win, and the Pegasus/Triton purchase.

I did also win another contest this week, and used the provided gift certificate to order an 18650 battery (for the Pegasus), a Kanger Subtank Plus (V2), and an EHPro 454 Big Block RDA. No purchases!!!!


Yep! That was me, but I didn't wait a year. I lasted a couple months... but it wasn't my fault!

I had a couple clearos, and a couple mods, and I figured I was set!

It was the ECF! I won a Kanger Subtank Mini V1 in the second contest I had ever played. Sure, I could have just used the 1.2 Ohm coil and let the RBA Deck and the .5 Ohm coil gather dust, but that is not my way.

Then I won (in the 4th contest) an 18650 Mech and a matching RDA along with 2 x 18650 batteries and a charger. I HAD to learn to build! I HAD to try dripping!

NOW, I ONLY build. I've shelved most all the clearos and have only three in rotation... barely... sort of...

BUT I own a gawdawful number of RTAs and RDAs and RDTAs... In fact, it was the latest addition - the Fishbone - that won the regulated competition, and it was the Little Boy - my first RDA - that won the mech. Ha Ha!

Had a nice time at the cookout. Saw some friends whom I haven't seen in YEARS. The hostess was getting ready to light up a cigarette when I hollered for her to come over to me. Pulled out my mod and said "Take a hit". She chuckled and said she has one and is trying to quit. Her co-worker piped up and said, "I'm trying to quit too, but my mod is broken. I really like your mod, what is it?" We chatted about mods and stuff. Showed them pix of my "vape cave". I think they're coming over on Monday so I can help the one gal get a new mod (well, hopefully two!) and "share the love of vape" with them.

I washed, dried, folded and put away two loads of laundry all by 9:30am, then DIYd some juice. So far, everythign I've made has been good, but I'm not going to build an ejuice empire, at least not yet.
Now, I'll spend the rest of the day in Sluglandia. Tomorrow, I have to do some house cleaning, as I have company coming next weekend.
