Mornin/Eve tree folks.
Well, October is thus far confirming my theory that the nice cool switch in temps from hot to comfortable has made the month fly by. ..and it even is a longer one, with 31 days. At some point , prob around the official switch to Winter...the days will seem to draaaaaaaag on ...and DayLight Savings only makes it worse! But let's not rush things:cool:..and enjoy the nice Fall weather while we can. Bad enough when Christmas starts to try to overtake Thanksgiving:rolleyes:
@DaleH1985 Welcome back!:) Take good care of that tooth .
Have to get ready for another PT appt...catch y'all later
PS: @Fuzzy Thunderbear ....ah...another wasp whisperer among us;) Very sweet pics of you and Lannie:). How is Eep Eep liking her new cage/condo/apartment? Now is that a different one than Chicklet?
@tiggerrts May the wasp forcefield be with you...and then get the H out of Wasplandia soon ...never to return!!
Ash Cave at Hocking Hills.jpg

Ash Cave in Hocking Hills State Park,Ohio.
My family visited here quite often while I was growing up. I was always fasicinated knowing Ancient Peoples actually lived and thrived here.
These are not my pics..I think Mom has those, but you get the idea...

I agree ............Tiggerrts, May the "Wasp-force field" be with you from now on............sorry about that happening....but it's been interesting reading other's stories.....I personally have only had one experience with an insect attacking me....and I am not even sure what it was.....but I am sure that if I were to get stung I would be totally allergic to it and it would probably kill me or knock me out for months.....

I seem to be able to do that with a lot of bugs and animals. I don't know how I do it, other than to have just convinced my own brain to ignore and/or reject the possibility of being stung. Some Buddhist guy once told me that we set our realities by our personal expectations - AKA field of intentions (you get what you ask for - if you truly believe those things will happen to/for you). I also attract cats, dogs, and other critters to me (and often people) and can only assume my aura puts out a welcome sign. A friend had a cat that she said would claw the heck outta anyone who tried to touch him (she named him Lucifer). I sat down and it jumped up in my lap and snuggled me, so I petted him and said nice words and he laid down and purred. Her chin was almost touching the floor and she said, "He won't even let ME do that!" That's the way I am with everyone. Of course, some animals/insects I want to go away, so they do.
I knew that about you Fuzzy............I just knew it....That's what I pick up on....lol...even through the PC...You are an animal magnet......
Well treefam I am off for now.....have a great day everyone........

@Fuzzy Thunderbear ..:) ..that's funny..I bet there are lots of cats out there ..who..at one time or another got called Lucifer :D
A friend has a black long haired she sometimes refers to as "Satan"
Curious that it seems like when someone is allergic to or just doesn't care for cats..any cat in the vicinity will automatically attach themselves to them:rolleyes:
My friends with cats will attest to knowing that their cat's have a "real name" (that only they know) ..aside from the human name we give them:)

Thank you. It helps to have a sweet life partner.
How is Eep Eep liking her new cage/condo/apartment? Now is that a different one than Chicklet?
She seems to like the larger area a lot better now that she is getting bigger. Eeep Eeep is Chicklet. One day I asked her what her real name was and she stretched up tall (she was on the dining table at the time, eating her morning toast), looked me straight in the eye and said in a very loud voice, "Eeep Eeep!" So that's what I started calling her and she responds to it.

That "field of intentions" thing works both ways. You also attract those things to yourself that you fear for some reason. Those who are afraid of snakes, for instance, will find they have more incidents with snakes than the average person. ...or yellow jackets... which means you have to stay on your guard more than another person, which consumes more of your energy, etc., etc. It's a very long discussion actually.

So if just you and I go back and forth, we'll have all six in no time. ;) It was 29*F this morning when we went out for morning chores. Only 38*F right now. Yuck!

Hocking Hills Cedar Falls.jpg

Cedar Falls at Hocking Hills, OH ...I remember hunting flat rocks to skip across the water here...And one man and his young son were doing the same ...and found an awesome arrowhead! Back in the day when it wasn't illegal to keep it.

Well, I have stayed on here too long this morning (OK, afternoon) and I really need to get out and unload the truck and stack the wood and go fill the chicken bin, etc., so I'm off until later tonight. Hogs y'all!

4 badlands south of Kadoka.JPG

Even more Badlands (what's so "bad" about grass, trees, and a few rocks?)

10/28 - 3: Well back to wasplandia tomorrow and then with luck only one more day after that. It was a rough one today as well. I hear ya Fuzzy, and understand well. I was speaking to the wasps the other day in nice tones, and as many as 100 flying around me did nothing.

It's "spraying" rain outside..the German words for it... "Regen sprueht" ...sounds much cooler...but is much harder to pronounce.
Waiting on a repairman to come by with a quote.
Having some coffee.
The spruehing Regen is changing my outside plans for the day:yawn:

10/28 - 5: Sorry to all that wanted another story, but I am going to have to make final plans to move, how to, what it costs. Where to move to live and how much it costs and all that, plus all the mail stuff. Shoot hoped to make it through the Thanksgiving, Christmas time. Pay the lawyer again, while hers is free. I so hate this.
