5/24 - 2: The boys found going in early to be very acceptable. We opened the garage doors and windows to let the cool air in, the house was still hot an muggy. They were shocked how well the house kept the heat, about an hour later the humidity lessened and it was more tolerable. We will continue for sure, and in time they will acclimate; it will take me less time to do so.

Yes it does seem that things happen to a lot of us at the same time.

Okay so just got a call from one of my workers, the boss was saying "I was out at the house, and saw you drive up at 6:07 and meander in, if anybody puts down six I am going to question them." Ooh let me get this right, most days you can not get up and moving by 8. This will be too easy though "Well then what did I take out of the truck if you were watching?" Ha ha ha okay I will stop. Oh one more or a few "Work hard guys or I will not be able to pay your check, AND<<<< we need money so my wife can go on vacation." translation work so she can go on vacation, I am wanting to renovate the house while she is gone; so we need a lot of flow to make that happen. Get lost dude. Okay none rant over, just typing.

What means this, "take it easy"? :) Once upon a time, I used to answer that with something crude, like "I'll take it anyway I can get it" (apologies to those with thin skin), but then I grew up. Today, I do whatever work is put in front of me with minimal objections. It has to be done. Someone has to do it. Who else is here? I guess it's just me (Wifey can't do bobcats, mowers, tillers, or any other power tools, and she cannot hoist 60# sacks of grain - which, even with only one arm, I will find a way to do it). Sadly, for those ranches/farms that cannot afford hired hands, there are no days off and you have no choice but to do it when you can. Raining? Blizzard? If you can't go outside today, that's just twice as much you have to do tomorrow. Such is life. Tra la la la la la la... (come on, sing along with the tough old bird)

TIOA Sns 8 eps 94: Katz stood at the door and watched, Anjel finally lay still by herself; she had her legs outstretched, her arms comfortable around her head and neck. Katz had made sure to have the blankets and pillows around her, she left leaving back through the living area, Count was in the kitchen, he heard her and turned asking "How is she doing?" "She looks much better, she is not awake; she may sleep for a very long time." "How long?" "Maybe as much as three days." Count stopped his eyebrow came down a little.

"That would only leave us seven days, and we have not even made a dent; and they are piled up outside more than ever. We should think about moving her." "No! we are not moving her." Katz said firmly "We could hurt her if we tried." Count closed his eyes and sighed, he turned away thinking. Katz went to the window, no more running of people; more soldiers standing around the area. The sun was out, seemed to be no clouds. She looked up through the window, she was right no clouds.

"Looks like a fine day out there, not a chance for rain or anything; blue skies are far as you can see." Katz was changing the subject, they both knew it; it was just getting to be an awkward silence; when a sound hit them. Deafening, almost painful; it must be right on top of them. The thunder crack, was fallowed by a much cooler breeze. Katz went back to the window and up "What in the world was that?" "Do you see anything?" asked Count "No." she replied.

TIOA Sns 8 eps 95: Katz and Count were amazed at how the wind blew much cooler all day with not a cloud in sight. It was pleasant, they discussed things and checked on Anjel often. She slept much better now that the breeze was blowing on her and so pleasant; there was almost a smile it seemed on her face. Katz went over and checked the blankets were down a little, but she was not shaking. Katz picked them up just a little the sun was going down. She got up and looked back one more time and left again.

"Good night Darlin." Angel rubbed her right hand through her hair. "Good night Angel." she replied with a smile; she got up and kissed Angel on the cheek. "Did you have a good day?" "Yes." she said with a smile "Did you?" "Yes it was nice, but I heard you." "It was just wind." she said softly. "You know how I feel about that." "I'm sorry." "It is okay." "It was nice, wasn't it?" "Yes!" Angel said shaking her head at her playfully. They tickled each a little "Okay, okay. Time for you to go to bed young girl." "Okay Angel."

Angel turned to the open windows and faced the wind, it was nice. "Angel, do you like plants?" "Darlin, could make it just a few degrees warmer." "Okay." "Yes I like plants, good night." Darlin spun in her bed. "I like how they come up out of the ground, the way they can climb, the leaves blowing; flowers and when they have bloomed, there is a lot to like. Good night sweetheart." "Good night." Angel turned back and looked back out the windows, she went close to one; oh yes that is just right. She breathed in deep. "I like flowers to."

TIOA Sns 8 eps 96: Katz could hear sounds outside, she looked back out the window; she was able to see people run past, it looked like papers were in their hands, one stopped and let the soldier read. He shook his head yes, and let the young boy catch up to the other girls and boys. The man had the other soldiers come to him, he spoke to soft. "Oh no." Katz thought, she walked out the door just past the group. "So when they come there is going to be no mistake, do you understand?" the other men agreed with him. "The house will be surrounded, they will not be harmed." "Yes sir." they said.

Katz went past and stopped, she shrugged her shoulder's and turned while shaking her head no, she put her hand up to her face and kept shaking it no. "Both of them, sir?" "We do not know yet, but the youngest." "Yes, sir."

"Hey Scott." "Hey Darlin." "Nice day huh?" "Yeah the air is nice, crisp; very invigorating." he breathed deep while smiling. He asked her "So what are you doing after school?" "Well if I don't have homework, I can go play!" "Sounds...... what was that word?" as he started to run. "Cool!" Darlin shouted, she smiled and skipped to her class. Her favorite, she bounced up to one of the shelves and looked at the little plant in it. It was not moving, she watched for a few minutes and it did not move. She was not happy so the wind changed direction and the little plant just barely swayed. Darlin smiled and went to her chair. "Good morning class." Darlin looked straight on and listened carefully.

Tried some Ti 0.5 Ohm coils in my Lemo 3 so I could try out the TC on the Pico. Interesting, but not sure it's an improvement over VW. I'm not a sub-Ohm DTL guy, but I think the Ti itself has a flavor that's just not quite right. Maybe it needs breaking in.

you are a tough one... If only the kids now had that same work ethic
The biggest difference is that when I grew up, TV was black and white and you had to walk across the room to change the channel; the telephone was screwed to the kitchen wall (only one per house and it was a party line); no computers... well, except for these, of which I own about 1000:
1st comp.jpg

Want to talk to your friends? Go outside and climb a tree together. That was interfacing. Exercise... we walked miles to the woods to build our forts... this list could go on forever and I don't want to bore you all to tears.... The point is, we grew up learning that we had to work for everything we got. There were no :censored: entitlements!!! And no Doctor Spock yet to tell parents they could not spank their brats! Children today are told by their teachers, the television, their friends, the government that YOU OWE them everything and they don't have to lift a finger to get all the latest toys. Bah Humbug! Get a job!

With that, I bid you all good night, dear Tree Family.

I knew it.......so I think I may have known you in another lifetime.....
Good night Treefam.........
