Thanks for the review on this. I thought about it but think I am gunna wait a revision or two before grabbing the Goliath.

By the time there's a version 2, someone will have a new tank called the "Bohemoth" or something that will have the world saying "I MUST HAVE THIS!"

I would wait on the Bohemoth..

Got mine in today.

Early review is the machining sucks, it's soaked in oil (which I have washed and washed and washed) which gives it a funky taste and the deck/chimney are kinda of hard to build on/with.

Switched over to a single coil and performance is great if the taste settles down I might like it.

Burns through liquid quite fast

All hail the king of VAPE -

I just ordered my second one from TriangleVape - 35 cheap dollars and it includes being shipped priority mail.
Rocking at .42 ohms with 26g. 2.5mm. coils. This coils up easier than the Goblin, wicking is faster and less finicky also.
Fit and finish is superb. Screwing the chimney on to the deck just takes a second or two to engage it properly.
My home made root beer float is frakin' awesome in this thing at 30 watts.
The machine oil that is on some of these things is e-juice from what I have been reading. They use it to test these out on after assembly. I didn't smell that mineral oil on mine. The threads on here are just as good as the best ones out there in my opinion.
The heat sink fins do not have the sharp edges some others do. I like the look personally, I have so many of the plain vanilla types, this is a welcome change.
Juice control and air flow control in an RTA! awesomeness......
I picked up a glass muffler tip - wide bore with the slanted tip - from Triangle also for 5 or 6 bucks. It compliments this device well, it has cooling fin looking knurling cut into it. It matches up well, and is very comfortable to draw on.

Now the bad part  - As soon as I got it all coiled and wicked up and had just finished tightening it all up, BAM, it slips out of my hand and on to the hard tiled floor in my kitchen. I instantly twinged a few choice words out of my lips and then picked it up, looked at closely knowing there must be a big ole' crack in the glass.
I said damn, and proceeded to fill it and vape on it like nothing has happened. It survived a crash from an altitude of 48 inches onto indestructible porcelain.

If your in doubt on buying one and are waiting for version 2 . you are not going to regret this atty at all. I don't see where it's gonna get any better in performance or looks. :2c:

at lunch, here at the salt mine and a dim light in my head started to short out and I thought >
I wonder if the air flow ring from the Goblin fits on here
It looks like the hole on the body of the Goliath is slightly larger than the whole on the ring..
If the Goblin ring fits - you would have slightly more air.. - not that think I really need more, but hey! more is more better, right? :D

Assuming the goliath ring design is the same as the goblin, why not simply leave it off? I usually run my goblin with the ring off...

True the Goblin ring has more capacity then the Goliath airflow ring. Note: the 3mm holes under your build in the deck are smaller than the Goliath airflow ring holes and less than half the capacity of the 6mm upper chimney piece. So, to increase airflow you would want to start with build deck holes which are the most restricted

I like the Goblin and Goliath...but man they suck up some juice!!!!!
Any lung hitting device with massive airflow will. I've already went through 30 ml of juice with just 3 nights using the Goliath. Best thing to do is get into DIY, if you haven't yet. Running out of juice doesn't exist for me anymore.:D

All the recent RTA's are very hungry tanks but..... more airflow and some higher power mods then a few years back are the culprits. On a "good" day i used to go through 5ml of juice a day, with the goblin and subtanks this doubles... Even with the kayfuns i use more juice then before !!!! DIY is the way to go but even if we use use the same amount of money that we used with the analogs it's still a healthier adventure...... I stopped counting the money i invest in vaping after a year and if i like something and can afford it i just go for it. Juice included.... afterall this is one great hobby.
