Speaking of GP fluff. I wonder if I could fill the juice wells on my Origen with some and have the cotton wick laying under it to take juice out of it. No more juice coming out the air holes when it's laying down … hmmmm.

I was thinking something similar. GP Fluff in the juice well with vertical SS Mesh wicks... It is in my plans to build this and try it, but I haven't found the time quite yet...

I actually do this with mine... I thought of it when I got my heron and then thought of the deep pockets on the origen

Just finished installing the v3 kit in on one of my spheroids. Not gonna lie, it was a real PIA getting the nut on the underside of the positive post. But building the coil once it was installed was a dream!

My only problem is, now I can't get the bottom of the base completely screwed on even after using a new o-ring. Just a tiny gap but it's there. Works fine tho, & I'm not super OCD so can live with it

One down, one to go!

Very nice! Do the female threads look like they are long enough to accept the male threads side by side? If so, then clean the threads with a soft toothbrush and soapy water and try a dab of Vasoline. The Spheroid thread tolerance is quite tight and impressive.

I had this happen on one of my three, left a small gap. Solution? It's being used in the MicroStick. ;)

Yes they do, I never had a problem before the swap. And I had given all the bits a nice bubble bath (as Iowa girl calls it) before assembly. Will give the Vaseline a try if I can find some. Thx for the tip

So first off thank u Perseas and Domo for the new bell. I decided to rebuild today but with a micro coil as opposed to my ribbon and fancy German Silica fr RTD. Wrapped an approx .9 with 28 gauge. Didn't use filler, simply fed the cotton thru the cotton cap and filled the tank. By far the best tasting atomizer I have to date. I am also running a Rocket with the same juice, although spectacular, the micro in the Heron seems a tad better. No leaking as of yet and vaping like a champ. I am a very happy vaper right now.

I was chain vaping and noticed that the juice feed was not keeping up. Cut the fluff off by 35% (length) and Bam! All hunky-dory once again.

Hey guys just looking for some tips on the cotton / micro build. That's my go to build for all my RBAs but I'm finding the cotton doesn't seem to be wicking fast enough. I'm not using fluff so while the bit of cotton sticking out of the cotton cap is soaked, I'm finding the cotton near the coil gets dry sometimes. I never get dry hits but they are not as flavourful either and when I go to change my cotton I can tell it's partially burnt. I've tried using very little cotton but it doesn't seem to do the trick. I also tilted my coil about 45 degrees so it's not completely vertical but not horizontal either and that helped some. Maybe I'm missing something or maybe I should just build this with silica and fluff.

Tried this build today. It vapes quite nice and consistent to me. Reminds of a Kafun build in a way when using no fluff. I still prefer the fluff build, though:
