I just bought the 1.5 paps x and heron at Vapist. afterwards after doing some reading i realized i Also need to purchase some kind of adapter ring, which isnt in stock at Vapist nor in vapour art site. Bit baffled to why when buying a mod and atty from the same maker i am not able to use both new from the box. Do i really need to Let both sit and wait till the adapter is available? Also wanted to ask if the batch off Vapist has the updated Bell.

The X converter ring is in production and it is for the GP PAPS X only, while GP Heron 201 connection is compatible with most of M20x1 mods of the market. We didn't expect so much demand for this adapter and the upcoming Orthodox Easter holidays will delay its availability via our store, but I hope at the end of next week to send X converters to our British reseller. Your GP Heron has the updated bell indeed. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

I understand, Its Just a bit discouraging buying the pap x to use with the heron, and not being able to do so out of the box. Buying the ring alone, when shipping is more then twice the cost of the ring itself is another discomfort. Im sorry if this sounds Like a "..... and moan" post. Guess it is my fault For rushing Into a purchase.

@Perseas - perhaps it may make sense to rephrase this part of the Heron description on the VA site:

Production starts for GP® Heron. Capacity is 3,3 ml. A conversion ring permits GP® Heron to be used with GP® PAPS X and GP® PAPS v1, v2, v2.1, v2.5 mods via an X converter ring with M20x1 mm and M21x1 mm threading. It has also AFC ring. GP® Heron is made from EU certified 316 SS. A special designed drip tip is included.

To specifically state that the use of the Heron on the Paps X requires the purchase/use of the Heron X Converter - or maybe even better to put it up in bold red letters at the top of the Heron page.

The shipping is 7€ for small items and I suppose cheaper from our resellers. Please read our FAQ about shipping. We shall send it to our resellers as fast we can, I really don't know what else I can do.

You're correct my friend, I posted with red letters at the end of the GP Heron's description that a converter is needed for the X. It was written before, but it seems that I have to post it in bold. Thank you very much for the suggestion!

Right you are Perseas :) I remember seeing that somewhere on the Heron page before today, and I missed it this time around when I was looking at the Heron page again to find the wording. I mean, you can gather that you need an X adapter from reading the description of the X adapter itself, and if you carefully read the description of the Heron, you can't really miss it (bold letters or not), but sometimes people can run into a Vapour Day like into a burning house trying to grab everything quickly, and miss something important, like it happened with Sosko.....

More updates from our good friends at Domo:

HERON BELL UPDATE PART DEUX

The updated Heron parts showed up today. I will be bringing some to Vapebash to hand to their owners.

We will start to systematically send out the others to everyone who purchased from Domo today, but will continue to ship them through early next week.

In order to keep the process streamlined, please either let me know you will be in Chicago (in which case I will physically fly it directly to you :)) Or please confirm that you will NOT be there and we will send it out.

These will come in a padded envelope with a handwritten label so please look for it.

If you are not going to Vapebash, if you want to confirm that in a email to me, then I can get them out quicker. If I do not hear, we will be going through each order and sending them out.......

The latest that they will be shipped will be monday....

question, is there anyway to prevent the gpin from getting coated with ejuice and causing build-up/resistance? It seems like the delrin loosens each time the battery is replaced and ultimately causes it to miss-fire - cleaning each battery change is almost required with mine.

I don't think there is anyway to prevent juice getting into your gpin unless you use an atty that doesn't rely on air flow from the 510 connection. But my delrin has never gotten loose on mine. It might be worn out.

Replace the battery from the switch side. The 2.5 we were always encouraged to replace the batteries from the top as to not disturb the telescopic posts.

What atomizer are you using that is leaking like this?

Hmmm. Honestly have had no juice issues with genesis and/or silica atomizers with leaking. All my Pins look as new.
