Thats a new one! Does the locking ring spin and unlock or does the device fire occasionally?

It fired so far only once in my pocket, I have noticed it will sometimes fire when locked and sitting upright on a table. I was in the gym one day and could smell a strong Oder of GVC and sure enough it was firing.. I just lay it on its side now. It seems to lock and unlock just fine??

First thing to check. Unscrew switch and look at the nut. The post should extend past the nut approx .05mm or so. If it does not, remove the nut(reverse threaded) and flip it over so the cup side faces down and replace it. The post should be the only contact with the battery. Completing this will suck the exterior switch up past the locking ring just a bit.
This should fix any misfires in a pocket or upon setting down.
Let me know. :)

It appears to be in the proper position..the post does extend past the nut.. So when you lock yours it stays locked all the time?
It does, and having several, I now am stumped. After a good cleaning and a bit of use they all have a very comfortable tolerance so that I can spin them with a "finger flick". They are not too loose or tight.
Inspecting the button does it extend past the lock ring at all? or is it .05mm ish inside the ring when locked or unlocked?

Also how tight do you have the tele posts inside on your positive battery post? As mentioned a bit ago, I just have mine barely touching so that it makes nice contact to avoid battery rattle but not torqued down on the battery. Do you have any gaps within atty, top cap, or switch that you can see?

I'm running a KL on it and yes there has to be either a slight gap between kayfun and top cap or top cap and mod, I have it adjusted so there's a bit of a gap on each so that it doesn't aesthetically bother me. I can't get the KL to sit 100%flush. It looks as if the button is sitting properly.. I'm stumped to.

ah - understand - mine too, can be upgraded by ordering the "GP Telescopic Centre Post version 2.5" from your site, right?

That's right.

My Kayfun 3.1 ES has adjustable centre post, I suppose the Kayfun Lite has the same. The GP PAPS SS & LUX have adjustable centre posts, so why you cannot adjust them to have KL to sit flush on the mod?

The top caps are hand polished and sometimes they are slightly rounded at their edges by 0,1-0,2 mm, do you mean that kind of gap?

It is not right to lay it on its side. If the firing pin protrudes above the insulator, send us an email to info(at)vapourrt.com to send you a new insulator higher by 0,1 mm.

Perseas is correct as always. My KFL and KF sit completely flush. Make sure and back both posts all the way out and screw the KFL in the top cap. Then screw the large post into the post of the KF to make a connection than adjust the battery post as needed. I think you have to tight of a connection from KF to top post and this is causing the battery to the switch to have a wonky connection. Just screw until connection, no torque needed. GL

Here are pics of the gaps I'm getting, the first pic is me screwing the KFL into the top cap and then to the mod, second pic is how I've been using it, there's a gap no matter what I do. I understand both devices can be adjusted, this is as close as I can get them to flush..http://

Just wanted to add I think your exactly right Idaho, I think the connection is tight also.. I'm stumped why this wont sit flush, honestly I just thought they all must be like this until seeing the pic above. My KF 3.1 will not sit flush either.. I'm sure it's something I'm missing but what? Thanks for your help.

Not sure if you asked or if anyone else noted it in a previous thread, but one other solution may be this: there are two secondary screws for the top cap included in the Lux/SS package - use the thinner one for the Kayfuns. I have the Lite and it sits completely flush.

I bought it off the classifieds, while the mod was brand new,the seller didn't include a spare pin. I think that's exactly what I'm missing. Thanks! Hopefully I can order this screw?
