I just recieved the longer center screw. It works great, allows me to use my 18500 tube without a fuse. I want to thank you for such great service and for making available these amazing works of art. I have been vaping a long time and have been through a lot of kit, but not until the GP Paps and spheroid could I define what vaping is to me. I look forward to where your passion takes us in the future. Thanks again my friend....you are the MAN !

This is about the size I use. Please take note on the thickness if possible. It is a thin piece. I still will trim a bit after wrap. If the wool extends the tube after assembly, I tamp it in carefully with a small screwdriver, add juice and vape.
I boil all my wool before use to remove impurities, funny I find the wool wicks a bit better after I rinse it when changing flavors. After rinsing I dry it with a hair dryer if im in a hurry to use again.

Well said Idaho. The right size is very important to get the best out of our Spharry. I use a tad smaller piece, ref. below:

Cut it to about 2cms x 4.5cms, while keeping the width less than 2mm (not compressed, but in fully fluffed state). And mine is wicking damn well. The coil is at 1.3 Ω and am using 70:30 PG/VG in 18mg strength. And I'm in total bliss !

Qorax, I think you are the most patient and deliberate person I have ever met on the online world. How do you have the patience to add your emphasis with colors and formats and stuff like that? I have the attentionspan of a hummingbird and if I don't press send right away, I need to read something else. You sir, are something. :D :p

One of the best news I heard in a long long time :)
But Perseas, will my Classic Piccolo be there as well? U know I'm waiting (pestering u) since over 4-months now.

No worries, I remember very well :)

You're right, I corrected the minimum length in the description at the store. A filler strip with proportions of 45 - 90 mm x 20 mm around the bell of GP Spheroid is recommended. Its length and thickness is depending on the viscosity of the liquid and the VG/PG ratio.

Kool, thanks for the tips and the photo. No question that I overdid my last build. A lot..

Wow, you guys are GREAT. I was quite sure that I could follow Idaho's picture but the dimensions (and in color) are very nice. If I cannot follow these directions, I shouldn't be messing around with this stuff :)

As I said in my first post my friend Q, I only wrap once and in my second post I mentioned I would trim. I avoid waste and measuring if I have them cut so that I can wrap 2-3 tubes!
Good teamwork my northern bruddah

Prior to my lux I would constantly shift between mod battery sizes but since receiving the lux yesterday I am enjoying being stuck on 350 mode with the igo-l.
It is a beautifully made high end device that strangely goes so well with such an inexpensive atti and a high end tip.

I am for the first time since starting vaping 6 months ago satisfied with using 1 set-up and can now focus on my coils.

All my opinions only of course.

18350 is definitely the best size. If concerned about battery life, carry spare batteries. :D

Thank u Sir for those kind words.

I have learnt the virtue of patience, deliberation, steadfastness, respect to detail AND love for life while being in uniform and performing under severe adverse conditions / situations.

Thank you Sir, for your assurances ! I now look forward to possessing a 16mm 'flute' which is now slowly turning out to be a phoenix.

So, being a new fan-boy of GP, can someone tell me the serial number ranges for the different versions? I want to hunt down one of each version. The Paps I mean. The Piccolo is nice, but 18350 is more my style. I think I need a V1 and V2.1. I have the V2 and LUX on the way and a V2.5 in my possession.

P.S.
What is the differences between the V1 and V2 BTW? They look very similar to me.

The v2 serial numbers begin around 150-160 and up to 500-600. It stopped on July of 2012 and started again after 6 months as v2.1.

The differences between v1 and v2 are about the button, the knurling on the ring and the tube. The v1 is made from 304 SS, the v2 is made from 303 SS. The v2 tube has internal grooves to facilitate the potential gases to escape through the air vents. The v2 serial numbers begin around 150-160 and up to 500-600. It stopped on July 2012 and started again on 18 February 2012 as v2.1

The button of v1 has an air hole and its axis, the firing pin has a socket for the spring, contrary to v0. There is an initial v0 without engraving, 400-500 units circulated in Hellas and Germany from September 2011 - April 2012 and is made from aluminium or 304 SS welded tubes with brass top cap and brass switch.
