Quick question, Does anybody know if the spheroid got fixed to be able to fit on the Nemi Nemesis 17mm? I looked on the website and saw a guy saying that the air hole position of the Spheroid didn't work with the Nemi. Any help would be appreciated :) Thx.

The Spheroid has nothing needing to be fixed. It has bottom air holes from the beginning, 2 years now. It can be put upon every mechanical mod that supports bottom air channels. Any enquiry regarding the lack of air grooves or of a proper AFC for a mechanical mod made by other manufacturer, must be addressed to him not us.

The 510 connection of Spheroid is the common 510 connection, which is used in Boge cartomizers and in every other 510 atomizer in the market. It is a standard type of connection. If it doesn't work for the aforementioned mod only, then ask the manufacturer why. It hasn't reported something like this before. If someone has that issue with his Spheroid and other mods, he may contact us to investigate, whether this comes from a certain Spheroid unit or it is a mod related situation.

GP Spheroid V2 Rebuildable Atomizer

Nice looking atomizer... too bad I can´t use it! - Brian - 02/10/2014
I got this 16mm atomizer to use on the new Atmomixani "Nemi" mini Nemesis mod, which is a 17mm mod. While the combination looks fantastic together, unfortunately, the combination is 100% unusable, due to the location of the air intake hole on the 510 connector, plus where the Nemi, Nemesis, and 69 mods (all from Atmomixani) have designed their top caps to allow air to enter. In short, I get close to a 100% air seal when the Spheroid is fully screwed down on the top cap.Secondly, I purchased the GP Fork Tool, as one section of the product description (the updates section) indicated that the fork tool would be available for purchase separately. After receiving the package, I realized the package already came with the fork tool. Reading the description again, another section indicated that the Spheroid DOES come with the fork tool, so this additional purchase was redundant. I could have avoided this purchase and saved a few quid. All in all, I'm not out of pocket by a huge amount, but it's something to be aware of.For now, this 4/5 review is temporary, and is only because of the air flow issues, as the mod I'd intended to use it on does not allow proper fitment of the Spheroid, which is a shame, because the combination looks absolutely stunning together. I have half a mind to cut some channels into the base to allow air to pass through to the air intake holes at the 510 connector, but performing DIY mods to such an expensive device makes me cringe... unfortunately, it lo

That's why I asked  Told you before I am pretty new to mechanical mods especially your product. I usually check reviews before I buy something. You don't have to be so defensive. I am not saying the Spheroid is broken, I was just asking based on current Nemi owners if they encountered any of the same problems mentioned by this European gentleman so I don't end up in the same boat with the same problem. Thanks for your past response BTW

Hi Skin,

I have used my Spheroids on pretty much every mod out there and with 99% of them they work perfectly, including the regular Nemesis. Unfortunately I don't have a Nemi17, so I cannot delve about that combo.

As stated before, the Spheroid draws it's air from it's 510 post, pretty similar to any carto. And such RBAs need proper airflow system on mods. If the Nemi is not made like the regular Nemesis ~ yes there could be a problem here. So, will be with any Cart-Tank.

As regards that review on Vapist. Well that's a first hand info, so as it says this combo doesn't work - it won't work. Thus better avoided. Nonetheless, like I stated before, the Spheroid is one of the best 16mm RBAs - and works well with most Mods.

All the best buddy!

Have a look at the Veritas RDA by iHybrid Atomizer. I have been watching this move along, but from faceless... I have reservations.

I tried a friend's Veritas this week and was really, really impressed. I loved the reduced chamber and leak-proof design. Like other vapers, I've been looking for a dripper with some capacity that's easy to build. I wasn't too happy with the Origen. I'm much happier with the Super-T Strata, but it's difficult for me to build using Ekowool (much easier with microcoils and cotton). Just looking at the Veritas, it seems straightforward to work with, but I'd like to try building on it myself before buying.

And the answer is: find a gal (or to be non-sexist about it) or guy who takes care of her nails, and swipe her stiff cuticle wooden tool. Worked like a charm.

I would try to find something wood or plastic instead of metal to try to pry it out.

Oooh. A knife blade tip gives me the willies bro. All sorts of wrong there. Firestorm has a fantastic idea +1. Worst, a small sdriver and gently work it around raising one side.
I hate metal on metal mod work hence my gently comment.

I am not defensive, I try to explain in plain words that the 510 connection of the Spheroid is the standard one that every cartomizer in the market has from the beginning. And you did ask if the Spheroid has been fixed, that implies a need to be fixed. There isn't such a need unless there is a faulty 510 bottom cap and we'll be glad to replace it, but we won't design a new proprietary 510 connection with non standard air holes. From the moment this issue hasn't been reported 2 years now for any other mod in the market regarding the Spheroid, why should we fix anything, when we use a standard 510 connection?

Thank you very much for your praise! I am partly responsible for your confusion, therefore I apologise on behalf of my reseller that published a review that doesn't reflect the true nature of the issue, creating a misunderstanding to the vapers. He is already aware of that and thank you for bringing it to my attention :)
