My order is still in Sophia. Hope it gets here before next Wednesday, I won't be here to receive it that day.

Another hope, that DHL will actually try to deliver this order from VA. The one last week... out the window I saw them pull up out front, look around for about 10 seconds and then drive off. I called DHL CS... the drivers excuse, couldn't find my place. Hello! Get you .... out of the truck and walk up to the door.

Yeah the drivers nowadays especially for ups are hella lazy dont even wanna do their job correctly. I remember after my first vapourday in February my X 1.5 was delivered and when I came home nothing at all. The driver didn't leave any sort of note or anything. But after calling cs and knock on three of my neighbors doors I finally had it in had. I didn't mind that he dropped it off at the neighbors. They just didn't leave any type of note stating where it was, leaving me wondering where the hell is my package hahahahaha

Funny how the smallest items can cause so much excitement. I was told "mail" was at the door. I damn near broke my ... to get to it.
Why is it deliveries always happen the minute you go to the bathroom? :/hmmmm

At the same time my sister (who lives across the street) was having a new stove delivered......it wasn't vape related so I wasn't excited.

Ok forgive me if this is a dumb question but am I supposed to install the spring that came with the V3 switch or is it extra?

I do most of my buying for everything on-line now days, so I get alot of packages. I know when a package it "out for delivery" because I require tracking from the seller or I don't buy. I am home, the front bay window blinds and door are wide open year-round, I can see out of them from my computer desk 20' away, and my attack parrots let me know we have company (even way out on the front road).

Our USPS Subs are just as bad. They always just leave a failed attempt to deliver notice in my mailbox... NEVER came to my door to try to deliver/get signature. My regular postman David does it like it's suppose to be done. UPS just drops them on the front patio, do not even attempt to get signature. By the time I get to the door they are already nearly back in their truck. And any of the carriers driver's might just drop them off at the complex office... the staff of which does not inform you they have a package for you. The clue they have one is when tracking shows the package delivered.

Bottom line... I hate packages that have to be signed for because many carrier drivers don't do their jobs right now days, they don't care. And because the packages do not require the addressee to be the one and only who can sign for them. I did not authorize the office staff to sign for my packages (I don't trust them, for just cause), or the drivers themselves to sign for it (yes they do do that). Doesn't do any good to complain/file a formal complaint... management doesn't care anymore either.

Same thibg over here but I live in a gated apartment complex and ups drivers are just to lazy or dumb to use the call box to gain access. But just got so sick of it one day I just decided to have everything delivered to my mother and father's home down a cpl of blocks away and ever since I've never had an issue with any package and use it for my mailing address.

Dang.....Well I'll defer to one of the other guys on this one. The last thing I wanna do it give bad advice.....I will, however, tell you what I did with my Origin when the same thing happened (locking ring got stuck). I took a rubber mallet, put a piece of cloth over the switch, and LIGHTLY tapped around the perimeter of the switch....this was enough to free up the threads and it did not mark up the mod at all....maybe try something like that?

Or not....I'd hate for you to mark up your brand new mod!!!

The switch should go on the tube normal thread and lock reverse thread. Wide rubber bands again here will help. Jar grips. It'll break in.

No plyers or banging zone.

JP is right, the lock ring is ingeniously reverse threaded. It helps when installing the switch to install it while it is unlocked so that the button moves to lock or "loosens up" while installing. Different than the 2.5, it truly makes locking and unlocking the switch far more simple.

Oh good.....glad you got it freed up....maybe it just needs to break in?? Not sure (I haven't gotten mine yet).....But definitely keep us posted as to how it goes!

It will soon break in to move with little to no effort. A finger flick of the switch will soon unlock and lock. Oh Congrats BTW!
