QBro, you know very well that I feel the same. I am not sure anything has ever bothered me like that did. I did not like the discussions. I knew the can of worms was coming when specific questions were asked such as "is there a way to keep from leaking?" and "how are you filling it".....
There are many things many of us have the ability to use vape gear out of design. I personally envision it as an insult to GP and their hard work from, idea to design to long awaited production. Like it wasn't good enough. I understand that many find pleasure in their own style and over thinking but, that was wrong. I also understand it was being taught on FB on the GP page and there was issue.
I thought it was finally over.
The reason I don't join such FB groups/pages

I've been after my company to get this for a while. Many apple devices. I'm still trying to get them to stand up a server to manage them. It's like the wild wild west

Same here. Our Encryption Endpoint suite now manages Apple devices so we might just bind all our MACs to AD to manage user accounts and use our encryption client to manage the security policies. It's not as granular as AD but it will get us by for a while. I stood up a dev server using one of our iMacs to show my management what can be done.

Exactly. I've done a couple demos. It's all $$$. Binding did it's purpose for us. But we are only dealing with a handful of MACs. Graphics and lab. That's it. It's a windows shop and an apple PDA shop. Go figure.
They are trying to push surface for AD. Clients don't want it.

Just that he did what my pet peeve is ~ he set it up fluff less! Yes, it can be done, but the Heron is not designed for it Imho. The standard setup is albeit with a filler material ~ which gives you that peace of mind that come what may the Spheroid/Heron will not leak. Which is the USP of this gr8 piece of work from Vapour Art. Build it without the fluff and you are taking away that Unique Selling Point.

It's funny you say that, because as a new Spheroid owner, my initial thought was to try and build it without the fluff. I thought it was going to taste like a cartomizer.

Then I decided that, no - I will build it as it was intended and make a judgement from there. Eureka! It's fantastic with the fluff! It's quiet (I think the fluff helps mask the snap/crackle/pop sound from the coil), it's leakproof, and as I've said before, the flavor is out of this world.

Looks like a Heron + Paps v3 is in my future, along with another Spheroid - for my MicroStick (pre-order - hope Chels gets some electricity soon for those new CNC machines, lol)!

Yeah I am very excited to receive my Spheroid...should be delivered today. I am hoping to score a Microstick soon, but at the very least I can run it on my V3 Lux......I am happy to hear that you like yours!! :)

We are in the same boat my friend. Our graphics and design group are the only ones with MACs and our Executives and some managers use iPads. We are a BYOD shop and use Good for Enterprise to manage secure mobility. I work for a healthcare/insurance company so security is priority to comply with HIPAA regulations.

I think you'll love it. The only deviation I made from the 'official' instructions was to use a little less fluff. Perseas recommends 20mm x 45mm, but I am using 20mm x 40mm and I find that's enough fluff to hold the juice but still wick nicely. But, as always, figure out what's best for you.

On another note, just put my first order in directly with the VapourArt site. When I bought my X from my shop owner, he threw in a X converter ring and a fork, but no extra springs or the other GPin pieces. No worries, got them from the site, along with some more fluff and an X ring. I ordered this on Sunday, and Monday morning when I woke up, it was already on it's way with a DHL waybill number in my inbox. Great service!

Excellent. Yeah this'll be my first foray into a device like the Spheroid (using filler), so hopefully I'll be able to set it up properly! Now, I have to keep my eyes open for a Spheroid V3 Upgrade Kit....

I put in an order for 150ml of the GVC 18mg vg heavy and a drip tip on Sunday and yep, sure enough woke up Monday morning to a shipping notice. Departed Frankfurt this morning at 05:45 :)
I noticed this morning all that's left now is 0mg :D

Yeah, I really want to stock up on some more GVC, but I guess I'll have to wait.... I thought Grant was going to post more for sale on his site yesterday? Maybe he did and I missed it? :(

Literally ALL I've been vaping lately are vanilla custards (GVC and Nicoticket's CLS is very good too)....love them! :)
